this was actually the cutest thing flora had ever seen. not just the clampearl diving, but the whole event in general. sure, it seemed almost bittersweet if she really thought about it, but she was going to try to enjoy the week while it lasted.[break][break]

which is what brought her to the clampearl diving in the first place. the idea of it almost makes her nervous, but other people are diving and coming up fairly easily, so...she takes a breath and dives down, too.[break][break]

Keenan wore a snorkaling mask, black swim trunks with fire on them, and his Spheal in the water. He so wanted to use his Sharpedo, but was afraid that the mean looking Pokemon would scare the Clamperl away. Spheal was way friendlier, and he could get some good swimming done. This Splashfest was really what was needed after everything going on. And he never went diving for Clamperl before. This could be interesting. Standing at the pier/beach, the blonde did a short jump into the water per the instructor's directions. He also knew that Aaron was around, enjoying something or another. But the two brothers had dinner plans. Not that couldn't change, but it was unlikely in the elder's mind.

Diving down into the water, his Spheal quickly joined him to be his little diving buddy. Well, large diving buddy. Searching the sea floor, he didn't see anything off hand, but still went checking every nook and cranny. There were also bound to be other treasures here beyond Clamperl. Slateport was a bustling city after all.

A day out on the beach is truly a perfect way to relax and unwind. And after putting in so many hours with kyle lopez to find sponsorships for the splashfest, she's more than earned it. Luka lounges on the back of her milotic in the middle of the sea, basking in the sunlight as her hand trails in the water, tracing rippling patterns among the waves.[break][break]

Madeleine spots it before she does— something glittering under the surface. The Milotic lets out a chiming call and when Luka peers over she can see it too, half-hidden among a clump of seaweed.[break][break]

She really doesn't want to get her hair wet...but if they dally, everyone else will get the treasures first! So Luka nods and holds her breath while Madeleine dives down deep, and together they retrieve their prize.

it takes her a few moments to dive, anxiety spitting little knots into her system. she keeps looking over her shoulder, even after diving beneath the surface.

looking for trinkets and looking for danger do not mix, it seems.

she's distracted enough to make a hasty move for something with a small shimmer and kick away with a handful of sand. the second time she reaches a hand out is a bit more successful at least.

Stretching, Ashley throws his shirt to the side, taking a moment to get ready before the big leap. As he does this, he looks at his Poketch for a moment. "Twenty-nine... aaaaand... thirty. Good, that churro should be digested now." He grins, diving into the sea. He didn't know what he was going to find, and frankly that excited him. So, as he jumps in, he only has one thought.

Gotta pay your rent somehow.

Noah had been diving plenty, that was one of his favorite pass time whenever he was both free from ranger duties and from working on the restaurant. Being one of the most peaceful activities that he could ever do, not mentioning how beautiful it was under the sea. Seeing pokemon, colorful coral felt like entering a whole new world and that was what Noah enjoyed the most about it, it was a getaway mechanism from the mayhem of the real world. [break][break]

Taking a dive he would venture himself into the waters only to watch things go by as if nothing was happening on the outside, the pokemon were at peace and the seas were peaceful just like his own mind was right now. [break][break]

Josh and Snacker were no strangers to being beneath the waves; many advanced aquatic races had hybrid surface and underwater sections. He did need to use a rebreather, though; the depths these Clamperl were at would require one. Of course, these depths were no problem for the Bully of the Sea; his mere presence made smaller wild Pokémon take cover, even though the Sharpedo's eyes were nowhere close. "Well, we're here," Josh sighed. "Let's go down and see what we can find."

With that, he pushed on the Sharpedo's tall fin like a joystick, directing the apex predator to descend. There was a whole field of treasure around the coral, and the view itself was a treasure! Unfortunately he could only carry one of those treasures up at a time, given their size. No big deal, though! He would get his fair share throughout the festival.

One of the reasons Shalin looked forward to going to Hoenn was the sheer volume of underwater exploration to be done. Levy was the perfect Pokémon for the job, too. Milotic were wonderful divers, and could even generate a bubble of air around Shalin. She had planned on taking the slightly petit Milotic for a swim anyway, so why not wander the coral-filled treasure field in search of a real find? She released Levy, who performed a beautiful jump to try to impress nearby swimmers.

The Milotic swam underneath Shalin so she could effortlessly hop on. Once he felt his trainer's grip, the serpentine Pokémon wheeled around to perform another leap with her rider in tow, getting a cry out of her before the two got down to business. Nestled in the mess of coral was seemingly boundless treasure, but Levy would only be able to carry one piece up without being overburdened. He carefully weaved about the coral, Shalin ready to grab something that interested her...

The chance to go for a peaceful dive is more than welcome, especially with everything that has been going on as of late. With diving being Mars’ favourite hobby, he’s honestly more preoccupied with enjoying himself than anything else, and searching for treasure comes almost as an afterthought.

orchid sheds the lightweight coverup she had previously been wearing, placing it to the side. reaching back, she ensures that her hair is tightly tied as to not get tangled in anything under the water, or slow her down.

she considers the treasures that may lay beneath, and smiles at the opportunity of finding something. she had always enjoyed swimming, so that was a bonus as well.

They return to the pier the next day, hoping that the sea tides had brought new and better bounty to the ocean floor overnight. He'd found a Pokéball yesterday, which was well and good. Frankly, he'd been surprised it still worked.

After hearing stories of other divers finding Z-CRYSTALS and MEGASTONES, however, the one-eyed blonde dove into the sea once more with eager anticipation. Once again, he used his DEWGONG to reach the ocean floor faster. He could only hold his breath for so long, after all. He certainly wasn't superhuman.
