At the end of an eventful day of Splashfest, Shalin couldn't help but giggle at seeing Josh get dunked by the very next person ahead of her! She could have sworn she heard him muttering something about a Pokémon that wasn't Electric or Fire-type, but couldn't quite understand exactly what. Thankfully, he was too distracted to hear her; though they knew each other, she also knew that under the right conditions he had a very short fuse.

She calmed down when her turn was up. A new person was on the throne, and it was her job to dethrone them! She lined up and let the yellow ball fly. It was a difficult shot to practice for, as the ball was just light enough for the wind to affect it significantly on any given day.
