After a few minutes, she was reassured by a light but insistent tugging on her line, telling her that she clearly hadn't scared everything away with a little bit of splashing. She began reeling in this latest catch, wondering what it could be.

the fish he caught in the line gets thrown back into the water cause that's what people are supposed to do with tiny little fishes that still needed to grow, he supposes.

instead, he casts his line again to get a replacement fish.

It took her a moment to process what she had just fished up. Hadn't she attempted to jump into a swarm of these Pokemon and catch one recently? Well, she could only keep one of the Pokemon she fished up so she focused back on tossing the reel back into the still waters.

He had a Flying pokemon, he had a ground pokemon. The only thing he didn't have was one to traverse the waters. What better way to search, than to use the guise of fishing everyone seemed to have taken? Clearly pokemon were being found plentiful in this area... so, maybe he'd find something suitable.

A Remoraid... While they were cute, he didn't have much a need for one. So he'd return it to the water. Perhaps in time it would grow larger, or evolve... or help another Pokémon evolve. He supposed he'd just have to wait and see. Though now that the fish had been returned, another line would be cast, and perhaps his patience rewarded.... so far though, that Milotic was rather tempting to find again...

With a Gyarados and a Sharpedo hanging around, Josh wasn't exactly all that comfortable about this whole thing. Luckily, he'd been able to catch the Sharpedo in the Ball that had been provided by the facility so he didn't have to worry for long. As he casted his line again, he just had to hope that whatever came out next wasn't too dangerous.

With another Pokeball ready for temporary capture, he reached up whilst pulling the beast from the waters. Just as he'd done with the others, he'd been quick to tap its button atop the Hunttail's head— and just before it seemed to lash forward in what he could only assume would have been a had, had he not reacted enough.[break][break]

After examining his hand and arm to ensure he'd been unscathed, he gently rolled the Pokeball off to the side before casting his line out again.[break][break]

He'd missed the initial catch and found himself staring at an aggressively flopping Sharpedo as it pulled it onto the space beside him. For just a few moments, he stared at it as if processing the fact that it was there, though his attention had been promptly and sharply snapped upon the fact that it seemed to begin snapping at him.[break][break]

Its jaws hadn't been nearly as big as others of its specimen, but he'd have been stupid to expect a bite from them not to hurt.[break][break]

So, with a quick step back, as well as a yell of surprise, he gave a hiss of a sigh before tossing another Pokeball down to apprehend it. He watched as it rustled so vigorously within its binds, only to fall dormant before long.[break][break]

He squinted at it for a good while before sitting back down and recasting his line.[break][break]

she reeled in another small gyarados, this one even smaller than that last. deciding there was no point in keeping it, she quickly removed its hook and set it back out to sea, before trying for something else. she was getting the hang of this, now.
