Hot cocoa or egg nogg? Which of the two seemed to be the tastiest? It was a question for the ages and unfortunately for Kazimir he would only find the answer after he was done building his Snow person. It was something that he set out to do and he was going to be damned if he didn't get it done without distractions. It didn't help that his stomach was growling as he rolled up the snow into its spherical shape and prepared his first part of the snowman.

Carrie actually does all the work, which isn't particularly surprising. It reminds Fae of what one of her director friends had told her once: about how Froslass like to lure men to her den, freeze them, and keep them as décor. That had been the moment she had decided she wanted to have a Froslass one day, and apparently, they also like snowmen.

So, Fae lets her pokémon have her fun, and as she sits on the snow, she takes off her sunglasses and the scarf, having a look around. There are people she recognizes, like reporter , who's in the middle of a snowball fight with whom she assumes must be his boyfriend or something. There's , (whose name she still doesn't know, but who is also apparently is pretty close with former-reporter and councilwoman ), and hell, even , that one ranger girl she had met when helping out at the Fallarbor farms. Is she among the organizers? Interesting. Maybe, if she's in the right mood, she'll go say 'hi' later.

For now, she just sits by her hardworking Froslass and the snowboy, silently appreciating this winter wonderland that seems as if one of the only good things born of Hoenn's apocalyptic chaos.

Now his CUFANT is certainly all gung-ho about a snowball fight, rolling one up hastily with the end of its trunk before casting it at . Pitifully, however, the snowball only travels about a single foot before plopping back into the snow from whence it came. Regardless, the little pachyderm toots proudly.

Audric, on the other hand, is shocked he makes such a great meat-shield for Luka! The tray of hot drinks is, inevitably, dropped out of his hands, spilling into the snow as a result.

He then pondered, what next piece would he add to his ‘snowboy’?

“Hey,” he remarked a few minutes later as he got to work, “…don’t make me belt out ‘Ode to Joy’ all over you. In Russian, because I can. You look like a sourpuss,” he continued as he finished the next piece of his ‘snowboy’ and got to work.

“You have a glare so sour you could curdle the snow into water if you tried hard enough.”

It’s not that he was being unkind, he was just… slowly nudging the other to get out more and enjoy the weather…

he's not the most creative person out there so his snowboys usually just look bland and run-off-the-mill, but he's trying his best every time someone sets up this kind of gatherings. it also means he can instead focus on the more important things in life, which is to have fun.

he appears with his mightyena, all of them dressed up in various attires. one of them in particular looks like every snowboarding jock out there. on top of his head was a toque and on his face were thick reflective goggles. it even has one of those puffy jackets and snow boots on each foot.

"alright bravo, just a normal snowboy this year."

the mightyena barks as it stays by its trainer, following him as he rolls up his ball of snow to make a part of the snowboy

Gunner continued working on his snowboy, packing the snow together in an attempt to form something other than a middle piece. He wasn't particularly artistic, however, so he turned to his Glaceon, who was lying in the powdery snow beside him.[break][break]

"Think you could roll up something for us while I grab a drink?" he asked. Galahad mewed back, then got up, shook out his fur, and began gathering snow in his little paws.[break][break]

Eva can’t help but roll her eyes dramatically at her brother’s overreaction. The sarcastic roll quickly turns cold again when his own snowboy sails towards her newly built middle, “Hey!” she snaps, pulling away to avoid being pummeled by the object.

“Eris!” the child quickly steals her attention away from Ollie. Lucky for him! She was going to smash his next piece even harder than the first!

“Oh, Thank you, !” she lowers her voice to switch to body language and motions for her to lob one of those expert snowballs at . She uses the newly built piece of the Snowboy by Pearl to hide her enthusiastic pointing towards her brother.

Eva’s eye lit up at the mention of a peppermint mocha by , “Ooo yes! That sounds delicious!! I’ll definitely take one!” she wouldn’t say no to an offer like that!

Oscar stared at the sky, hands in his coat pockets as he watched the snowflakes fall. Usually he was happy to see the first snowfall in Hoenn, but it hit differently this year. Knowing that this beautiful snowscape likely came from the existential threat that was the frost of Kyurem--well it did not make him eager to see a White Christmas. 

Whatever, he was not here to mope about future horrors. He came to make a perfect fuckin' snowboy, and that was exactly what he was going to do. Oscar opened a pokeball, sending out the icy moth Writhe. Writhe had seemed depressed ever since the death of her good friend Nostra the crobat, but as soon as she gazed upon the falling snowflakes around her the frosty bug perked right up. Oscar smiled, he thought she would enjoy this and he was glad to be right. 

"Alright shudderbug, we got work to do." Oscar began gathering snow, and Writhe hovered over her master to supervise.

Gavin's attention shifts to a figure it takes him a moment to recognize done up in winter gear; when he does, he grins. Finn was far friendlier than the underboss, but a trained eye like 's would know the smile to be false. Not that he wasn't glad to see someone trusted, but merely that Gavin Merlino was a man of few natural smiles.[break][break]

Quick to stand as if having (purposefully) fallen in the snow were no issue at all, Mars scoops up his Vulpix's twin, since the pokémon seems set on pouncing at him and nipping at his heels. While Pollux chases after , yapping joyfully, Castor is tucked safely under the banker's arm, no matter how much the little icy fox may wiggle for freedom.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" An eyebrow is raised, and at that moment, one stylish snow boot hovers over the neat stack of twigs from which Barnaby had obviously been meaning to choose his snowboy's arms. It really would be a shame if they were to–...

To be fair, Mars was probably not going to break the twigs, but then Castor suddenly breaks free, startling him enough for him to end up actually stepping on the pile. Whoops. Better play it off as if that had always been the intent. Surely later on, when they go snowboarding as they had planned, they will laugh about all this. At least he hadn't ruined any of Barnaby's actual work, just the decorations he had carefully picked out.

Without need of a snowboard, Orion bounds forwards towards the champion and his pack in a flurry of happy tail wags, claws skidding to send snow scattering towards the fugger.

Suddenly Barnaby was five years old again and could hear his mother screeching at him from across the room.

Not many called him by that surname now, though. Finch had just the desired effect that Mars was probably looking for, anyway. Barnaby visibly flinched and hesitated for a moment, considering his options.

"Am I?" His boot hovered a few inches closer to the bottom section of Mars' snowboy "That wholly depends on what you do nex—"

What the hell, he wasn't even going to try and negotiate before breaking the twigs Barnaby had worked tirelessly to collect?? Oh, retribution was nigh,

"Martín Marco del Mar!" With more force than what was probably necessary, the point of Barnaby's boot slammed into part of Mars' snowboy and sent powdered snow flying, arcing in a similar fashion to a snowboarder stopping abruptly.

"If you even so much as touch my carrots, it's over for the rest of your snowboy."

"Oh, right! C'mere, Ivan." The small pokemon toddled over as Elio kneeled down with a smile. Pulling out a hand-knitted scarf from one of his coat's deep pockets he wrapped the green and red item around the pokemon's neck. Ivan cheered a bit, waving its bone club as it hugged the scarf. Smiling, Elio looked around at the snow and thought it would be cool to go snowboarding some time. Snowpoint City in Sinnoh had some awesome slopes and he couldn't help but remember his first time running down the mountain there. Shaking his distracting thoughts aside, he went to continue working on his snowboy.

Kanto never got as cold as Galar did, so Zev believed Gavin when he used the words 'frigid hellscape'. As much as Zev liked snowfall and winter, he appreciated that the winters of his childhood in Lavender Town were mild in comparison to whatever Gavin experienced growing up.[break][break]
