Control leaked from her fingers the longer she stood there, swaying in the tightly wound air, pillaging the ground with rings of magmatic fire, each one surging outward with the simple flick of her finger. The more the embers spat and roared, conquering land inch by inch, the more this twisted feeling contorted inside her, mangling itself into a knot that refused to untangle.

Danger arrived at her arm as a whisper of curling heat; when did she beckoned for it? Or had it been there the entire time?

It bared no emotion beyond the glint that occasionally winked back at her, and yet, she could feel its desires. Like oxygen filling her lungs, in and out, it flowed through Penelope in waves. The more she stared, ensorcelled by the palpable connection they'd never bared before, the more her surroundings burnt into ashes, both gray and black and irrevocably altered.

His voice seeped into her like the first few droplets of rain, slicing through the arid air. It seized her and extinguished the flames that begged to rage.

The harsh realization of nails digging into skin, twisting her wrists until pain surged inside, grounded her enough for reality to settle. All at once, everything became real once more - the still gurgling pits of magma, the glares echoing her way, the frustration.

There was no time to talk. The battle was still raging, and their position only made it easier for the suicine to reengage.

So, instead, she let out a harsh whistle, and within a second her charizard was rushing back to her side, using the last bit's of momentum from the previous TAILWIND to push the group out of harm's way.

Only then could she begin to reexamine their situation. And ollie morales.

She glanced at kyle lopez, her severe smile forced. It was frustrating he had to see her like this - that they all had to see her like this. But strings still bound her joints, and the puppetmaster was far from ready to release control of its marionette.

"Charzard," she called out to her pokemon again, this time infusing words into her command, "Flamethrower!"

But the draconic beast didn't budge. Rather, from her own shadow, the whisper reemerge in its stead, offering a revision to her calls. From its jaded eyes and liquid black irises, a horrible aura took shape, imbuing a physical manifestation with it's own slice of envy. The ringlet was then sent forth, toward the suicune, with no effort to evade the bodies of teammates or pokemon alike. (DARK PUSLSE IS USED)

The tattered and burned book catches the airstream bent by her will. What remains of the tome messily settles in her waiting hands. There’s little time to mourn whatever lost knowledge was burned to ashes.

Even in the chaos she’s reluctantly hyper aware of his voice.

It’s a moment too late that she realizes the Walking Wake’s tails are sweeping across the coarse ground. She sucks in a breath, eyes wide in brief panic as she clings to their prize helplessly. In a flash of fur, the summoned Entei leaps to her rescue. The breath hisses out from between her lips in relief as instinct drives her back to stumble away from the threat. A look of gratitude is briefly sent kyle lopez’s way.

Despite the barrage of attacks, this primal beast still stands strong and charges in vengeance.

Instinct built with practice consumes her. Golden streaks flash through the emerald of her eyes and a sense of urgency summons the bulk of her DELTA STREAM the strong winds surge forward, rising high in a stiff pillar between her, her companions, and the rampaging dragon’s attacks.

Eva's STRONG WINDS can NULLIFY WEATHER & TERRAINS OR MOVES THAT ACTIVATE THEM. She is able to use these WINDS to create PROTECTIVE & DEFLECTIVE BARRIERS for herself and allies. The more she creates, the weaker they are.

The god watches from above. Heat from an artificial sun bathes their emerald scales. A low growl is the response from the unintentional challenge. AIR LOCK seizes hold of the space. How dare this dragon contest their authority. Rayquaza’s serpentine form rises taller, an ancient pressure weighs down heavily on the area. The once bright sun flickers beneath their command of the elements and eventually may become smothered beneath their supremacy.

An attack on their chosen, their reign, their region, would not be tolerated.

The cavern shakes, chunks of rocks dislodging from the vaulted ceiling. A draconic rage erupts and casts a barrage of DRACO METEOR to try and smother the beast.

the book is the least of their worries for now, but still she grinds her teeth at its needless destruction. anger writhes in her belly, but not nearly as much as the walking wake's as it realizes its possession has been desecrated. the noble roar makes kirimu flinch back, feathers ruffling with uncertainty. 

there isn't enough time to switch kirimu for lyune, but she swears and barks at kirimu to hold his guard while she dons her sygna suit. a stroke of the modified choker around her neck and metal plates slide out onto her shoulders. 

the yellow blouse is shorn through and replaced with steel. gauntlets crawl upward from the gold bracelets wrapped around her wrists. the accoutrements are missing - her claws, riding boots, and her aerial cape - but the sygna suit hums, waiting to connect to its tether. 

and all the while, freya is calling orders to her roaring moon. the beast's feathered wings flare outward to shield her from the worst of the storm - most of it is friendly fire until the creature leaps onto the terastallized wall. 

her hair whips in her face from Eva Morales's delta stream. fire bursts explosively, fueled by the waxen wicks atop the dragon's head. rayquaza's draco meteor blasts outward and freya snarls a command for a hurricane.
