Oscar was about to respond to Mint, but his attention would be stolen by 's impressive display of his power. He knew Zev was on their side, but the sight of that dark orb made Oscar sweat a bit. He did not want to think about what it was like from within.

Beyond that though, the apocalyptic duo did not seem phased by the barrage of attacks. Or perhaps the right attacks were not being used. What piqued Oscar's interest was the mention of a wager, brought up by . He liked the idea but...

"Do you think they will listen to us? They seem to be more keen on talking at us. What can we offer that might keep their attention once their message is done?"

Robbie Rotten did not care that his attacks were so far pointless. All he knew was how pissed he was, and these oversized buffoons were not going to were not going to be spared from his wrath. Another Fire Blast was launched, this one being fueled by all of its fury!

There's not much someone can take out of the 'stay alive.'



It was no different than telling someone to 'breath' when choking, or 'don't fall' when mid-fall.



If it wasn't who said it, maybe Steven's response would've been far from the stoic nod he offered. Maybe his eyes wouldn't be tethered onto his new target, Hoopa, but rolling over instead.


"Alright," His confirmation was barely more than grunt, concealing all hints of annoyance. Then he turned to his Delphox, who was already preparing another FIRE BLAST. "You heard him. Focus your attacks on Ho--"

As always when huge monsters appear everything quickly devolves into chaos. Someone was doing something over yonder, people were screaming. Was that infighting as well? A classic.

But Elinor closed her eyes and her ears to that. If people wanted to punch above their weight class she would let them. There were more important things to handle. Like the little people, the civilians, the wild Pokemon.

She kept doing what she was doing, Steelix erecting segments of walls with STONE EDGE for people and pokemon to run to and hide behind. She too had taken cover as the freezing gales of the Blizzard threatened to consume all within it. Admittedly her Steelix weren’t offered the same protection as Ice was slowly forming on it.

She wondered how long it would last. It’s Pokeball kept firmly in her hand ready to pull it in the moment it might become too much.

Upon seeing his Charizard's rapid descent, Zev did the one thing that made sense to save it: he forced himself to shove aside all the visual chaos surrounding him so he could focus on the threads of gravity pulling the Pokémon to its doom. [break][break]

The frost thickened on the alien pokemon, and even though it's voice was alien to him, he couldn't risk it's well being especially considering he didn't know when he would be able to thaw it out, and get it back. Ignoring it's question for now.

"To my side." He gave the order, and the red pokemon drifted over to him as Amor sent out his next pokemon. A Magearna who was already in battle mode. Undeterred she began to Lock-On to the Kyurem, and then fired off a powerful Zap Cannon at it in an attempt to hampen it's defenses as best as she could. The voice of rang out in his head as they attempted to piece together the prophecy. Though he had more important matters to deal with right now.

You speak to me? To answer your question, we are fighting that thing because it is a danger to the region.


Is this region important?

Amor frowned a bit at that last question, but he shook his head. Speaking in his mind like this....It was disconcerting, it was strange, but he had done weirder things he figured.

It only takes a thrum of concern to resonate through the tether to force the dragon to pull back. Eva isn’t the only one that cares about ’s well-being.

Curls over the small group of League fighters like a protective umbrella, overlooking the monster’s right side. The frozen battlefield was a dangerous place to tread. Pillars of sharp never-melt-ice protruded in every direction, making it even more perilous to advance on the Kyurem.

Things looked bleak. Nothing they did seemed to be working. Their attacks barely put a dent on the titan's stalwart defenses, they could not chain it to the ground, nor could they stop the raging blizzard with weather moves.

At their darkest hour, Rayquaza's draconic cry reminded them what they were fighting for. "Thank you, Lord Rayquaza! Thank you, ! You're the best!" Andrea shouted at the top of her lungs, feeling newly invigorated. Maybe in her past life she really had been a Dragon-type Pokémon!

"Huggles, I choose you!" The girl sent out her Dragonite. "For this region! For our friends! Draco Meteor!"

The orange dragon roared resolutely, summoning a meteor shower from the sky to engulf the gigantic Kyurem. One might even call it a critical hit, but this wasn't a video game.
