The feeling that resonated with helping create the bridge brought warmth to her heart, as above all else, she wanted to help; to feel useful, something that went hand in hand with her previous efforts of chasing distractions through dangerous, ethereal situations. Her dreams and efforts were brought to a halt when the snow fell, a massive clump kicked up by the movement of the earth. As if it were a raining miniature avalanche, a muffled gasp led to Desiree being consumed by the chill,
buried within. Accompanied by her Ampharos, their hands fluttered in the darkness as they desperately tried to find one another's- and they were successful, quite quickly at that. The thrashing of their hands and arms led a small hole to form that they could breathe within, just inches away from one another, huddled, illuminated only by a dim-lit glow of the electric type's forehead orb.[break][break]
"It's.. so cold," Desiree coughed, numbness trickling through the packing of her heatsuit,
".. we'll make it out, Rose Sapphire..! We.. have to.. make it.. out. The string.."[break][break]
Looking to her wrist that was barely out of the reach of the frost, disoriented by the tumble, it pointed in the direction of what she thought was downward. It was of no use; the only way out would be with force, it had to be. The panic brought by the disorientation led her to forget the methods of escaping such things, the matronly words that she listened to over and over on those snowboarding trips. Shakily tapping the forehead of the electric kangaroo, it mutually understood.[break][break]

ZAP CANNON flashed outward from its exhausted body, using the last crumbs of energy it had due to the chill to release everything it could. The pain from it stung against her skin, crackling, a feeling of burning. Yet air had been allowed to prosper as the snow splashed outward, freeing them to collapse on the ground. Heavy breathing followed from the two, rapidly inhaling the frosty air that fell from the skies of crystalline domes, giant knuckles, and otherworldly truths.[break][break]
The greatest pain was being brought to such pain by something so small, only reinforcing all the whispers that lulled her to sleep every night. Words that she would never be good enough, that she was ultimately
unqualified to attend vicious occurrences like this one. Like the Mechanical Kingdom, the Ultra Deep Sea, the swamps of the Blood Mud, and the shores of the Resurfaced Island. It brought tears to her spinning vision, retaining frost upon her partially singed skin.[break][break]
Yet, catching a glimpse of
Genevieve Cromwell and
Elise Calcifet upon all the others she loved promoted energy to flourish once more.
"Friends..!" She cried out, pulling Rose Sapphire into her pokeball and releasing a Comfey, Hula. It immediately got to work once its eyes shed the light of the retention orb, channeling blossoming energies in the form of
FLORAL HEALING. A revitalizing feat on the physical, but far less on the mental.[break][break]
She continued to cry, though the tears changed from those of pain to those of frustration. Picking herself up to stand after an initial stumble, she spat into the snow and rubbed her eyes. She had something to prove now more than ever before. But how, when the weaver of the discordance was the size of a mountain?[break][break]

- the bridge is coming along nicely! but then she gets smacked down by a moderately sized clump of snow kicked up by the madness.[break]
- struggles to get out, but does eventually with her ampharos. an explosive
zap cannon bursts the snow outward, though it singes both of their skin.[break]
- desiree collapses and gets emotional and bitter in her pain. its embarrassing to get got by something so small, esp when so many people urge her not to get involved!! but she wants to!![break]
- energy comes back when seeing friends sorta kinda. +[break]
