There was two tricks left to do, the easiest and the hardest. Well, she could always do the easiest, so now was the time for her to continue her attempts at the MAGIKARP SPLASH.

Of course, she did her preparations. She bribed the Mantine with snacks. Proclaimed that she would make Kyogre's Birthday a bank-holiday if she succeeded, and did various other things that perhaps or perhaps not upped her chance of succes.

Even if it felt more believable every time he took another shot at the same trick and made a little bit of headway, it all felt like one big joke. Landing a Magikarp Splash only to struggle nailing an easier trick.
