Gunner had not been playing RONDEZ-VIEW OF LUV for very long, so when he learned that there was a special Dahlia Goode co-op event, he had to do a double take. Not even the Commissioner herself was safe from Macro Cosmos' data gathering?! Unbelievable.[break][break]

Wow, who would have thought you could co-op a dating game?

[break][break]Okay, to be fair, Julia didn't know much about dating games beyond what was obvious from the name. But this one had been sweeping the region, for better or worse, and now they'd added the League Commissioner as a "route." That had been enough to pique Julia's interest, but then Ettie had asked to borrow her phone so she could play it, and that had sealed the deal. So now, looking down at Fortree from her treetop home with her dad's tablet in hand, she started up the game.

[break][break]Oh, wow, that was a lot of text. She wasn't particularly deterred by the warning, having seen enough movies to be used to it, but she hadn't expected there to be so much reading. Okay, so it looked like for this game, Julia was Commissioner Dahlia Goode's new personal assistant. The Commissioner was asleep at her desk, but she had a meeting soon and needed to be woken up. Julia thought for a moment, then decided to play a song from her RotomPhone. That always got Julia up and energized!

STEAM PERMEATES EVERY SURFACE OF HIS MIRROR. . a heated towel wraps around his waist. the day comes to an end as fernando winds down for the night. the background chatter of news is his only companion.

bzzt!

he comes into his room to see his notification. it’s midnight galarian time, which means an update to the latest craze: RONDEZ-VIEW OF LUV. his shower puts him a few minute past the hour but his phone notifies him once the patch is downloaded. booting it up reveals a new route.

one that he’s dripping wet for.

the soft plopping sound of footstep echoes on ceramic tiles as he returns to dry his hair. it doesn’t require too much thinking to juggle between playing and tidying up.

It would have been unimaginable to think of her working so late at her desk that she'd fallen asleep, exhausted by the hard work of managing the myriad administrative needs of Hoenn. Aurelie couldn't help but smile softly at the image, which she found both endearing and rather moving in its air of sweet, relatable vulnerability in a woman that otherwise seemed as sharp and strong as tempered steel.

Which of these options would I want to use to wake her up? she mused thoughtfully. The more polite and unobtrusive thing to do might be to use a Pokemon. But the more interesting option would be to gently shake her awake. Interesting—and perhaps a little more intimate, too, which made the option even more appealing.

To be quite frank, Elisabeth's brief encounter with Dahlia Goode during Splashfest had in no way prepared her to know how to wake her from falling asleep on the job.[break][break]

The Otome game had become such hype that the Kalosian couldn't help herself but to indulge. She'd resisted thusfar, but alas, with the latest update including a handful of influential -and mysterious- celebrities, she had to get in on the fun.

It was breaktime anyway, so she could allow herself an ample half hour of relaxation. With a swish she scrolled through the intro and stared at her options.

To say he'd been glued to his phone throughout this event was an understatement. The potential insights and trolling opportunities were far too much for the man to resist. When the event announcement was made, the man immediately browsed the new routes. After a moment, he selects the Commissioner's game.

After so long being CEO, he found the premise of playing assistant an amusing one. Perusing the choices, it doesn't take him long to make a decision. He was a guy. Most women didn't take too kindly to being touched. And, he was a bit of a germaphobe himself. Crossing his fingers that his AI self had good choice in ringtones and music, Oz pressed the button.

A co-op event?

The concept seemed strange for an Otome game event, though Elaine was hardly an expert in the genre. Either this was some new groundbreaking development or a trial of something that had failed before.

Moreover, the commissioner of the league ended up also being one of the subjects of these weird games. They truly were curious.

Where most might question the inclusion of the commissioner in this game, Katherine does not. It seems natural, fair, and perhaps even a bit predictable. Dahlia was famous, good-looking and, above all-- powerful.

he doesn't know much about dahlia personally, but he does have a certain amount of advantage over other players of this game for being able to interact with her multiple times.

dahlia's character archetype would be that of a mentor-type. professional and refined, but at the same time, approachable and easygoing. that was the first impression she gave him at least, but the amount of work piled up due to hoenn's status as the hotspot of disaster has given her enough character development to shift from one archetype to another.

he thinks deep, trying to argue with himself which one would the game represent. scratching his head, he realizes that it doesn't matter because there's only one option applicable for both out of the choices presented.
