Whether he considered it a treasure or litter proved to be a coin toss, but regardless, he figured that he may as well take it with him. The disc, itself, ultimately seemed perfectly intact and free of too many scratches, so hopefully it could still be of use later on.[break][break]

He returned to the surface for just a moment in order to take a breath, peering across the shoreline instinctively as a means to glean a glimpse of the selfsame boy that sent him on his way. Though barely within his vision, he seemed content enough playing around with his own friends. Even beneath the waves and currents of the water, the sunlight seemed to shine through the shard he'd picked up with a radiant glimmer. He turned it a couple of times within his grasp in admiration before tucking it away.[break][break]

There were a number of little crevices and areas that seemed like they would harbor a fair amount of decent treasures, but naturally, he could only choose to visit them one at a time. Glistening under the sunlight yet protected by an ultraviolet-immune veil, the sparkling mangosteen and cherry pokemon of Desiree's found themselves bobbing at the surface of the sea in an adorable basket. Their curious eyes would look over the edge of the basket's ridge in search of their trainer, which had dived into the sea seconds earlier- it was yet another day of diving for the pinkette in the early morning, bridging the ocean's surface for any buried treasures.[break][break]

Swimming through the sea, Desiree wondered if she could find yet another beautiful hidden gem of the sea; yesterday she found a crystal she could use to terastallize a pink friend in the future, but for now, she would keep her eyes peeled. The curiosity behind those bedazzled pink goggles was inevitable, but as she would run her hands through the sand in search of a protrusion, it felt as beautiful as all the rest of these trips outward.[break][break]

Clamperl diving has never been his strong suit. Or diving in general. He can swim at least—and it beats just sitting on the sandy beach in the sweltering heat. So long as no fish touch him, it’s fine. It’s fineee.[break][break]

His altarias still hovers above the water, though, in the general area where Lam dives down to see what he can find. Just in case he comes bursting up out of the water with the instistence that a feebas looked at him wrong. Even if the sad truth is that most of his terror encounters in the ocean turns out to be seaweed slapping against his leg than menacing the nibble of any goldeen or magikarp.

Breaking the surface once again with a gasp, he hauled himself atop the pier and sat at the edge, the new treasure he held in his grasp around while staring in disbelief.

"A tera shard?" He said, glancing between the glimmering ore and the ocean stretched out before him.

A moment later, he threw his prize onto the basket, springing back up to his feet and stretching his arms.

"Guess that makes sense." The meteor had shattered into a gazillion pieces.
