The grassy terrain is helpful but it doesn't seem to be enough as the Registeel still feels like it brushing off many of their attacks. Even going as far as to just hold back a solar beam bare handed. Wasn't that great? If nothing else he is sure he has heard the shattering sound of a shield like these dynamax pokemon seemed to all have. Though as it brings its hands up to slam down on the lot of them the Registeel feels like it'll leave the dessert in ruins at this rate.[break][break]

Razz double checks on his Vileplume to ensure she was alright before he looks to the field to process just what was going on. Taking note of the previous man he worked it along with one of the Rangers working on a Team Attack. "Alright time to add to their might," he tells her as the Vileplume releases an AROMATHERAPHY to give SUPPORT.

With the impact of its colossal fists against the ground, the steel-type loosed enormous shockwaves laced with grudges, hatred, fear, and envy. Each threatened to sandblast everyone in their paths. Was this the Ruination? Josh had been on the receiving end of shockwaves of similar power, reducing him to a mere drop of life force. Even the Master of Faster was stumped; his role in this battle was offense, and he needed defense. There were many of his friends in need, and he felt powerless to help them. He did not have defense. He had to accept it was his Gogoat's role to smash this REGISTEEL to pieces.

He had to stay the course.

"Nitro, TRAILBLAZE!"

The Gogoat lowered his horns and zoomed toward their collective foe, seeking to part the veil of the sandstorm with his fleet-of-foot charge.

Just like with Kyurem, just like escaping that horrible prison, and just like with the ongoing RUINATION of their precious region, League and Rocket both seemed to be here, working together to contain the dynamaxed Registeel. Once, that might have inspired Nomi, but now, it only made her feel tired.[break][break]
But she would help Yuina, if she could. For trust. For loyalty. For friendship.[break][break]

with the registeel seemingly unimpacted- by anything- kasper tries to think of something that isn't very much going to die. it doesn't work. the big pokemon charges forward, swinging its fists down, and the noise kasper makes reminds them more of the yelp of a small dog than anything more dignified as they scramble back, debating just abandoning ship and leaving the others to their fate.

but also- because there's safety in numbers and they don't want to be targeted by splitting- they stay. also because they don't want to see someone get flattened into a pancake, thanks. "yarrow, protect- someone." they're not sure where the sylveon is in the chaos, or even if she survived the initial attack. at least not at first. if she did, with the people murmuring the answer to the riddle- ruination- she may have not even heard them.

there's a flurry of blue, pink and white movement that kasper thinks is probably the sylveon as she bounds away to shield a complete stranger (Naomi Sato) with draining kiss.

they are not only vulnerable to the attacks of the giant legendary, but also the hazards of the earth; sand that whips into their eyes, winds that threaten to blow them away, and falling debris caused by said storm, heavy enough to crush.

no one was safe, not even in the air. her altaria flips around suddenly as she suddenly sees a flash of light headed towards them, eyes widened. the only reason why they hadn't been struck was due to a SHIELD of a stranger (Naomi Sato). she nods at them, relieved. "thanks for the help." she says, clipped and short as to keep the sand from collecting in her mouth. there was barely time to communicate in a situation like this.

seeing as they had collectively rallied around a few trainers, emma turns again, seeking to pass on the favor she had been given so generously. and there—another girl, who was standing next to greyson. it was a small comfort to see him relatively safe, if scuffled a bit. but she thinks that if they don't succeed this raid, then they may all be on the path towards RUINATION.

the registeel had unleashed another attack on them; large shockwaves coming at them at nigh impossible speeds. she points to robin coello; she doesn't know if she can save herself in the process. she has to try anyways.

his shout causes the pokemon to turn back and see its trainer motion for it to create distance.

each attack of the registeel causes their setup to experience ruination, and with every move comes with another option to either take the effort to build up again or give up.

they were never going to pick the latter.

"trailblaze!" he orders the meganium. "let's make the registeel feel some more pain!"

the meganium attempts to dodge the blow that scattered their forces away before making a u-turn to come back with another move in tow.

Their work was paying off. Even more of the Registeel's Dynamax barrier had chipped off. If they kept up the pace, then they'd be able to break through hopefully. Although who knows how long everyone could last, already some were feeling spent, some unfortunate to be caught by the raging titan's anger. Their ruination is not to come yet however, there was still work to be done.[break][break]

From the back of the Milotic's tail, scales fling off in rapid succession, all aimed at the beast. These Scale Shots would hopefully be enough to turn the tide of battle in their favor, or danger would be seeking them sooner than later.
