The frenzied Registeel exacts ruination upon the surrounding environment; even with their combined efforts, it felt like a stalemate at best. At least their efforts kept safe, and they could trust in 's presence as well.

Though, as Brynn is struck amongst the chaos, El glances over to her. "Y-You okay?!" They call, over the howling winds.

Someone else was not having a good day, though - namely that of ! Seeing that the other was hurting, El would gesture Shagaru in his direction. "Over there - cover him with Giga Drain!"

And like the shining sun that he was, the Volcarona acted quick - covering Greyson and his Comfey, whilst continuing to drain energy from the Registeel to facilitate such.

More attacks came for Gwen and her Whimsicott from Registeel, bracing themselves for the impact of the attack that would never come. Instead, a sudden shield appeared around the both of them, protecting them from harm. The Whimsicott cheered at the successful block while Gwendolyn smiled at with a nod.

"Thanks for the save, Professor!"

There would be a time to nerd out with her and tell her about her dream to become a Pokemon Professor as well. There was a boss that needed to be taken down! Gwen let some of the other people deal with doing the direct damage dealing moves. She'd just have to work her magic from afar with Mischief.

In a close shave, Elaine had found herself and Gallade shielded after their last pathetic attempt at a strike. Ruination would spread wide and far at this rate, and Elaine was doomed to be caught in the crossfire--a mere weakling doomed to be simply another victim.

But that was meaningless in the end. The seeming entirety of Hoenn was engaged here.

To not fight until she could fight no more would be an insult to the rest who were working together to face down the threat.

Despite your best efforts, Registeel continues to stand tall. This is a real pain in the ass, isn't it? Of all the things to worry about, war with the League and the descent of Eternatus and the hypothetical Ruination and more, you're here battering this big metal piece of shit with no end in sight. In a word, ugh. In a slightly longer word, uggggggggggggggh.

But there's nothing to be done, is there? Nothing but to keep on keeping on and to fight the good fight until there's no more fight left to fight. Or something like that.

And that means keeping people with more on the line in the fight.

is already shielded from the titan's assault by , but that leaves Cillian unprotected. Perfect! An opportunity to fill in the gaps, mooch off upper management, and earn some good points with the brother-in-law while you're at it. Could you even ask for better?

"Dhelmise! Giga Drain!"

Once again, chains lurch out from the anchor, only in far greater quantity and quality than the simple Mega Drain of before. Latching onto the body of Registeel, they siphon what energy they can, before shunting it off and departing it onto and his Cradily. With any luck, it'll keep him going, and with any luck, you'll keep going, too.

But luck is a real son of a bitch. Especially your luck, in particular. And knowing your luck...
