Roze hadn't exactly been much capable of going for a dive herself, what, with her broken arm, at best she could relax and be at ease in the cool ocean waters, relaxing near a rented boat alongside a little Tyrunt sleeping in a Psyduck floaty, a chance to cool her head and wash out the weariness in her body.[break][break]

She'd been situated in a small atoll over a blue hole, the handful of ocean-dwelling pokémon she'd found and befriended exploring the depths and opting to bring up curios for their trainer in hopes of helping uplift her mood over her bum arm.[break][break]

With the raised walls of the atoll forming an almost cavern-esque barrier, the conservationist hadn't been aware of the ensuing battle between the Kaijooper and Stakaxodia off in the distance, save for the odd shadow that seemed to climb over the raised walls of the natural fortress surrounding her.

Lofting on the surface of the water amidst the soft waves, Daikenki watched Yuina and Doug below keeping a close eye. As they moved beneath the water, he swam in one direction or another, staying close to their relative proximity so that they wouldn't get separated.[break][break]
Clutching his hand, skin hot in spite of the cool of the ocean, Yuina turned to swim back to the surface as she had in fact found something to bring up with her. She drew in a breath, already finding Daikenki moving towards them both.[break][break]
"You just always have to have the last word don't you," Yuina mused, even when words couldn't be spoken, it seemed impossible for Doug to let sleeping growlithe lie. Unbeknownst to her, she handed off a glittering Tera Shard too Daikenki as the otter took it from her to place in their bag, pushing with her arms again to swim and keep above the water.

Taking some time to enjoy a drink and the hot sand under her beach towel, Petra's peaceful alone time is interrupted by the opening of her pokeball. Baldwin, her Blastoise, knew it was his turn to get in the water. To look for another prize, as humanity's treasure hunts filled the turtle with intrigue.

What would they find, and where? Most importantly...how did it get there?

Petra had all the answers to sate the Blastoise's curiosity, and so it wouldn't allow her to stay behind while searching for it's treasure. Ensuring that it would be a quick trip, the two of them take their little dive into the shallows. But there's nothing to be seen, almost as if it'd been picked clean. So they go deeper.

The scarce fragments of light making it's way down to glisten upon the sand are alluring in their own right, leaving Petra to retrieve whatever it was she saw glistening in the distance...

The Wooper bites down on the mecha's head, only for the gaping maw to swallow nothing but light as Nessie's maw bit through the air.

The Stakatakas' Substitute ended, the actual mech floating forward, allowing Andrew Fisher prime opportunity to get some shots for his stream. He'd get a ton of views for sure, none could doubt that. Already, they were rolling in. Acting quickly, all bricks retracted into the mecha and consolidated into a Mega Kick, intent on sending the Wooper flying.

"No, you dinguses! Go for the legs! Bring it down and crack that thing's barriers!" Howard shouted, his eye narrowing as he regarded the Wooper. This one was familiar.

Hideo had yet to ride atop his Walking Wake, but he knew it was more than large enough to carry him. And the way it swam through the water was far smoother than he'd expected, a continuous movement that didn't bob up or down. Nothing that would normally trigger his seasickness.

He gently pat his Walking Wake's mane. "Think you might be my new swimming Pokemon," he said, earning a smile from the Paradox.

The Starmie emerged from the water, depositing a Pokeball on his lap before diving into the depths once more. Hideo could relax, now that their feud was quelled.
