The relentlessness of the sandstorm was nothing of the gentle sort— with each burst of a rock, each wavering of a clump of sand, it pushed deeper and deeper into the singes of Desiree’s skin. She believed it to be a punishment for her relentless pursuit of a world of love. A penance for previously refusing to take it on with a softer, edgeless cell.[break][break]

Yet punishments could only bring about so much, for the sight that awaited her, accompanied by a sweet scent, led daggers of dark crystalline to cut through her heart. Diancie, picking up on the turmoil that showed on its trainer’s grimace, bore similar thoughts of malcontent. However, unlike the pinkette, it did not have the histories to provoke such a reaction; all it had was the sight of a toxic chain, leading it to believe its prowess had not been bestowed naturally like fate had on its gems.[break][break]

“Why couldn’t they have listened,” she said with mouth agape, pupils spiraling into unknown depths, “.. the never rot.. must be here too..”[break][break]

The little blonde’s attitude forced her mind to falter from the ever-expanding abyss of black that had manifested behind her pupils.. for it was a response that she had not expected, especially as she had bore far greater injuries in the shadows of such beings. But even in such demands, such a pure hearted wish to tap out when his body demanded it, her mind kept circling back to the moments she had stood in the shadow of the glistening bird once before— and of when she came so close to holding Pecharunt’s fate in her hands, which if executed without interference, surely would have rebuked this second encounter.[break][break]

Would joining the others in their wish to protect the creature have pushed her away from being a traitor to the world of love, the world she considered her own? Or would it have indeed been the right call, even if it leaked essence of life and peaches into her palms?[break][break]

“It..! It will not give you a choice to flee..,” she exclaimed as her voice cut into the sands, into the prepared toxicity, “.. it will take.. like it has tried to do to many of us once before..!” However, she was still unsure if it deserved to have its life essence taken.. even if it had once wanted to take so many in the name of its puppeteer. She stumbled in shock, as not only did the war exist before her, but it existed within.[break][break]

Diancie did not have to know of its first emergence to feel the way its trainer did behind her fear-struck grimace. It saw, now, four souls that were in need of protection— four souls it would not let perish at the extent of beautifully toxic wings. They both existed on the same coin of beauty, but on opposite sides.. one filled with love and diamonds, and the other imbued with a repulsive, poisonous allure. [break][break]

“Shalin..,” Desiree gasped at the sight of her friend as she took to its back, “.. why must it be this way.. why.. couldn’t it stay fucking dead?!”[break][break]

Pointing its sword at the creature, the mineral princess summoned a diamond-eccentric POWER GEM. One that it intended to swirl within the AURA SPHERE commanded to be used by the injured boy’s Lucario.[break][break]

Taking a deep breath and picking herself up, Desiree attempted to move behind her crystalline guardian. For there, her mind could spiral further while knowing it was secure to do so.[break][break]

Airi, Aaron and their Pokémon continue to push through the raging sandstorm. The beautiful, mocha-haired lady soon finds herself mind drifting off into deep thought as she tries to make sense of everything happening around her. During her last encounter with her childhood friend. Kouji Matsubara . he made mention of great trouble brewing up in the future. Could this be the unexpected conflict that he was trying to forewarn her about? If so, how did he even know about it? Her thoughts soon become shattered as another voice speaks over the howling sandstorm. Airi's narrows her piercing sapphire orbs in the direction of the unfamiliar face. Not too far away from them, her keen eyes take in the sight of a stunning blush-haired young woman around her again. Despite her enchanting appearance, the other female seems to have been through a lot of obstacles. Next to her is a mystical being cut from the most precious diamonds. Her mannerism is similar to that of her princess, but her ability to wield a shimmering sword rival that of a true warrior. The mysterious lady is attempting to plead with them. However, Aaron does not seem to be too accepting of her offer.

"You have made a valid point, Aaron. However, we should give her a few more seconds at least her out before making our final decision," Airi encourages her younger trainer. She nods her head and listens to the other woman's words. Her words are always as pretty as her face, but can she truly promise to protect them or even save the first of the world? It sounds like a lot of responsibilities for one person. Even if Aaron and she do decide to help her, would it be enough? Unfortunately, she does not have too much time to reflect on those words at the moment, because an even bigger threat finds them.

Immediately, Airi finds herself becoming captivated by the feathered creature's grace and beauty upon first sight. Regrettably, her admiration for the majestic fowl swiftly fades as she notices it releasing a toxic gas from its enormous body. She quickly withdraws one of her Poke Ball from around her waist to release her Dragonite. "Safeguard!" She calls out before placing her dainty hands over her nose and mouth. Cream lets out a powerful roar before summoning blue-green aura to surround herself, her trainer, and her teammates in order to shield them from the toxins. As Airi and her Pokemon focuses on defense, Aaron and his Pokemon waste no time with taking the offense. Everything was starting to look up for their team, but like everything else in life there has to b some twist and turns.

"SHALIN! WATCH OUT!" Airi made an attempt to warn her friend, who appeared almost out of thin air. She watches her friend jump off her Pokémon in hopes of landing on the purple feathered creature. Well, if it is one thing anyone can count on it is Shalin's willingness to take a risk. Shalin does not only have to worry about sticking her landing, but she also has to try her best not to get hit by the Aura Sphere... A move that is none to never miss!

The empowered MYSTICAL POWER punch manages to break through and strike OKIDOGI in the face, eliciting a stupefied cry.

He is able to convene with the group consisting of Gunner Graves, El Sunderland, Georgette Bluebottle, Eris Halla, jack wainwright, and Isaac Merlo. However, assistance for evacuation will prove to be difficult as they are engaging with a dangerous MUNKIDORI. Thankfully, due to his comms, he is able to protect injured medical personnel long enough before NPC League personnel arrive through the sands with KIRLIA AND MACHOKE to assist with transport and teleportation.

Thanks to her efforts, including some assistance from Georgette Bluebottle's AVALANCHE, jack wainwright and Georgette Bluebottle are spared from being POISONED. Eris Halla attempts to RED CHAIN the MUNKIDORI and is successful for a moment. However, she witnesses or feels something alarming that forces her to eventually let go of the chain. The MUNKIDORI's TOXIC CHAIN attempts to overtake the RED CHAIN, converting a segment of it into fleshy poisonous flesh before the effect fades upon severance of the RED CHAIN.

[attr="class","prompt0"]The MUNKIDORI is able to defend against the TYPHLOSION's INFERNO and AGGRON's STEEL BEAM with PSYCHIC BARRICADES before Gunner Graves manages to land a THUNDER PUNCH.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Afterward, El Sunderland's AGGRON uses ROCK TOMB to constrict the MUNKIDORI's movements, while extending assistance to a panicked Eris Halla.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Isaac Merlo's inspires those nearby with an aura of composure and compassion. The SUICUNE prances about, shielding against any residual poisons with its purified body. However, the SUICUNE manages to engage the MUNKIDORI with an EXTRASENSORY...

[attr="class","prompt0"]Kazuya Yoshida's AVALUGG uses BULLDOZE. Elise Calcifet's GENGAR manages to evade the attack; however, Cadeyrn Osmond's DRAGAPULT IS SLOWED.

Yamaguchi Himiko summons her ZOROARK which uses BITTER MALICE on Eduardo Hisakawa's TERRAKION. The TERRAKION avoids becoming FROSTBITTEN and is able to use STONE EDGE while standing protectively over noah faber's body. Eduardo Hisakawa prepares to fight.

The METAL CLAW & FISHIOUS REND are evenly matched. The contest of strength is nullified, forcing the two Pokemon apart after their quick clash. Kouji Matsubara communicates with Elisabeth Fiorelli before pulling out his knives.

GRUDGES are exuded, empowering John Sullivan by way of his empathetic powers. However, John Sullivan will soon realize the more he is subjected to these GRUDGES, the more he will be at risk of losing control. In particular, Elisabeth Fiorelli will sense that she will be able to influence John Sullivan's decisions against his own will should he continue to endure the emotions.

[attr="class","prompt0"]oscar clayton and his GOUGING FIRE uses NOBLE ROAR. As intermittent sun peeks through the sands, he and his Paradox ride up beside howard slayte.

[attr="class","prompt0"]priam conrad encourages Yuan Wright to go for the legs too, while he activates his SYGNA SUIT with SAMUROTT. AQUA JET & ICE BEAM are used to keep the REGICE steadily protected, its chipped ice healing with new frozen additions. This allows REGICE to remain balanced, keeping Yuan Wright and priam conrad atop of it safely.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Yuan Wright communicates with others that Admin Fox (howard slayte) wants the legs of REGIROCK attacked. He commands his BLACEPHALON to strike the legs with SHADOW BALL.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Tangaroa Emzar's ALOLAN EXEGGUTOR strikes the REGIROCK with its WOOD HAMMER too. Combined with Yuan Wright's attack and dorian westcliff's SHADOW AMAROUGE's SHADOW STORM, ancient stones chip and scatter from the REGIROCK's body, carried by the vicious shadowy tornado and sands.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Nearby, Hyakkaryōran Tsubaki motivates Andrea Vaneau before she leaves. Flying boulders are crushed by her NIHILEGO's POWER GEM before it glows overhead ominously. She hears FERNANDO SILPH's voice and calls out to him despite some panic.

ROUND 3

THE FEZANDIPITI TAKES ADVANTAGE OF DESIREE BLOOMS'S TRAUMA. From its breasts, the bird's TOXIC CHAINS RAPPEL toward Aaron Toral, AIRI WATANABE, DESIREE BLOOMS and Shalin Nariya, but not their Pokemon. They coil around and tighten around their waists as the bird flaps its wings. FEZANDIPITI takes flight, bringing them high into the sandy air. Higher and higher they go, should nothing attempt to stop them... There is one saving grace, however. AIRI WATANABE's SAFEGUARD lingers, preventing Aaron Toral, AIRI WATANABE, and DESIREE BLOOMS from being INFATUATED.[break][break]

THE OKIDOGI STUMBLES, ITS BACK PRESSING AGAINST A GROUNDED BOULDER. But the dog bears no frustration for the rubble. Using its arms and TOXIC CHAIN, it lobs the boulder into the air before smashing it with its fists. As Andrea Vaneau arrives, a barrage of stones slam into Hideo Kino, Roze Falkner and their Pokémon. Using that same bombardment as cover, the OKIDOGI darts forth with frightening speed. It stands before Hideo Kino and his UXIE, winding up a massive punch.[break][break]

Isaac Merlo'S EXTRASENSORY CAPTURES THE MUNKIDORI. The monkey is slammed against the ground over and over again, but before further harm can be done, the MUNKIDORI relinquishes the Beast's psychic hold on him with an earsplitting shriek. The rocks of El Sunderland's AGGRON's ROCK TOMB shatter as a psychic wave strikes SCOUT WILDER, Cassandra Kubrick, jack wainwright, Gunner Graves, El Sunderland, Georgette Bluebottle, Eris Halla and Isaac Merlo.[break][break]

Abruptly, all are granted a "future sight" of their "deaths". Unbeknownst to them, these are not their true fates—but the MUNKIDORI has implanted a horrific, twisted view of how all of these trainers will meet their ends on this battlefield by MUNKIDORI or REGIROCK or TEAM ROCKET's HANDS. As they are dizzied, the MUNKIDORI's TOXIC CHAIN rises above its head to prepare for a powerful attack.[break][break]

ULYSSES MONROE GRANTS PERMISSION TO Yamaguchi Himiko to engage with Eduardo Hisakawa. Although he does not give away Hawkins' location, a grateful guffaw and gesture toward the REFLECT acknowledge the doctor's assistance.[break][break]

"jus' don't be afraid to let me know if you can't handle that musclehead on your own." He chuckles at Eduardo Hisakawa before smacking Yamaguchi Himiko on her back. "i'm here to play!"[break][break]

Monroe tips his hat, and a stone fastened to the hat band glows brilliantly, lights spearing through the SANDSTORM. As his AERODACTYL MEGA EVOLVES. Through the sand, the pterosaur dives toward PETRA MONROE, its ROCK HEAD empowering the TAKE DOWN.[break][break]

Those who know of MONROE from his earlier days as Hoenn's past commissioner or by familial blood will notice that he seems different. Changed from before. It is hard to discern what has shifted. What has been edited...[break][break]

THE REGI "ARM BRIDGE" is severed. When REGICE attacks with a MAX KNUCKLE, REGIROCK does the same with its opposite hand. Both titans quake, forcing those on top of each giant to hold onto whatever they can lest they fall. Aggravated by those striking at its body, the REGIROCK swings its freed limb like a paddle. The gargantuan arm slams into @tangarora, dorian westcliff and their Pokemon, tossing them high into the air. The fingerless hand comes close to Hyakkaryōran Tsubaki, while detritus continues to threaten Elisabeth Fiorelli and John Sullivan nearby.[break][break]

The ODD REGI STATUE on howard slayte's person can be sensed by the fearful REGIROCK... It wants to consume it: a symbol of its own creation. The blueprint for Regi creation. But fear continues to strangle its sentience.[break][break]

While the archaeologist continues to scale the Giant, the REGIROCK summons a massive rock slab (MAX ROCKFALL) from the earth. It divides the REGICE and the REGIROCK, pushing their fists apart.[break][break]

FERNANDO SILPH has missed ONE ROUND.

Hunu gave a fist pump at the result of his attack, however as the scale assault bombarded their way toward Hunu. The large man raised both arms, and tucked his body in. The violent attack shredded at the skin and flesh of the Alolan, like a million wasp stings one after another. His eyes, locked onto his next target above once he would deal with Regirock. However, Hunu had other issues, with the impeding strike uprooting the ground and attempting to send the Alolan and his Pokémon airborne. His Ace stood in front, and took the majority of force behind it- allowing Hunu to only take damage from the Exeggcutor slamming into his body. As both Dragon and Man flew into the air, blood sprayed from the oversized man's maw. Looking down below, he hissed. "F#CK THIS!" He loudly roared, as he retreated his Exeggcutor to his capsule. 

However, upon returning the dragon type he violently shot put the capsule below. The sphere exploded into a ball of red energy, materializing Kane back into reality- the dragon type roared from safety and craned their neck. Aiming to catch Hunu with their face and leaves, the man landed with a heavy thud, before rolling off with another thud. He groaned, swearing he broke a rib or two from that assault. Hunu gasped for air, as his face was bloodied from the fall. He had to use his quick wits, in tandem with his rage.

"Hired to kill Giants, huh? Yeah. Let me show you, what a Giant Slayer really looks like. Kane, seed bomb the prick!" He called out as the layer of rock began to form, Hunu picked himself up and held onto the injured side. Grinning through the red, as the injured Exeggcutor violently screeched, from each head of the Coconut Hydra- explosive seeds violently bombarded their way toward the Regirock in attempt to impede their attempt.
