ROUTE 112. As the base of Mt. Chimney, TWO GIGANTAMAX VENUSAUR have appeared. Bursts of pollen, like volcanic eruptions, scatter across the route as the two toads duel. Large vines shoot across the rocky expanse, putting those on the cable car ascending the mountain at risk...[break][break]

Some of these vines appear to have been replaced by TOXIC CHAINS...[break][break]

Damaging these GIGANTAMAX VENUSAUR will be impossible at first. Their DYNERGY BARRIERS mitigate much damage and stave off hinderances such as PARALYSIS. Should those who arrive shatter their combined SIXTEEN DYNAMAX BARRIER SEGMENTS, they will finally be able to take these gargantuan amphibians down.

Making a hero landing.

"Go!" Shouted the man as he made his landing, his Aegislash launching out of his shadow to pierce at the dynamaxed titan.

His sygna suit roared to life as the infiny energy inside burst forth, flowing through the fabric and linking him and the blade together.

Her edge, already grown to massive size, glowed all the more brightly, all the more blinding, before the Aegislash spun through the air to bring it crashing down on the enemy venusaur!

Route 112 had a Gigantamax Venusaur that Elise had to deal with. She sends out her Spinarak to do the job of breaking off the segments of the barrier protecting the large grassy frog. Kumo the shiny Spinarak lets loose a series of Psychic that aim to break the barrier protecting the Gigantamaxed Venusaur. While Elise feels a small sense of discomfort of working with the very bug type Pokemon that evolved to her childhood trauma, she would slowly have to get used to working with the smaller male spider.[break][break]

Charles the Calyrex helps out in the sidelines where the High King uses Helping Hand to increase the Spinarak’s power.

"C'mon girl, round too! Show 'em what you got!" he said as he flipped his bangs to reveal his keystone earring that began glowing in turn with her megastone. The Abomasnow evolved in a flash of iridescent energy before blasting an immediate BLIZZARD, aided by her SNOW WARNING. "Let's hope we can break it!"

BELLONA was a rather audacious TYRUNT, and next in line for MATRIARCH TYRANTRUM. Remiel hadn't expected to test her mettle on the field so quickly. The routes surrounding MT. CHIMNEY was a perfect place to train Tyrunt, but they hadn't expected to find two GIGANTAMAX VENUSAUR here.[break][break]

Nevertheless, Bellona does not shy away. She charges head-on with a HORN DRILL, striking at the DYNERGY BARRIER SEGMENT and wildly snapping her jaws to tear away at it. The Venusaur may be much larger than her, but she's eaten toads before. This is an oversized meal in her eyes, despite the TOXIC CHAINS that warn her against biting.[break][break]

Remiel, in the meantime, drops to a crouch when he finds some strange PAW PRINTS embedded in the ground. He wasn't any kind of dog expert, of course, but they appeared to belong to some form of canine. Nothing he recognized, however, which prompts him to open up his backpack and take out his archaeology kit for some photos and a cast.[break][break]

This was fucking insanity, for lack of a better term.

The size… the size of the Venusaur immediately reminded him of Shalin Nariya and… well, her insane antics while riding the whip of one, so there was that!

Of course, there was only one way to handle this—oh, yikes.

This time he’d picked out his Salamence, who actually balked at the sight of the two gigantic-ass Venusaur; however he shook his head lightly.

“Let’s do this.”

The Salamence then came screaming forward in mid-air, breathing down the hottest instance of Flamethrower he could muster up so that he could at least break one of the strange segments surrounding these humongous Pokémon.

It was like his nightmare had become fucking reality…

“I knew it!” he would hiss.

Hideo didn't feel too well. It wasn't due to all the pollen around him; it did get him to sneeze a few times, but he was starting to feel a bit ill.

And it wasn't the first time - the past couple times he'd helped with the Toxic Chains, he could feel an unease growing.

Almost like he was Poisoned.

His Ribombee stayed close, trying to help him feel better as his Masquerain fired off an Air Cutter at one of the dynamax'd Venasaurs. His Ribombee's Aromatherapy helped deal with the symptoms somewhat, but he still did not feel well.

Hopefully, it wasn't going to get any worse. It was starting to disrupt his ability to direct his Pokemon.

The poisonous pokemon attacking the region were coming out in spades. The situation only grew more dire as dynamax energy surged in different places, allowing these pokemon to undertake an immense power. Not only did dynamax energy consume the surrounding area, causing mass hysteria, it wasn't just one Pokemon this time... It was two.[break][break]
Yuina rushed into the area, running with a mask to cover her face, falling a bit behind as Kano lunged forward. The Arcanine roared, bearing his rocky head forward and rushed into one of the attacking Venusaur with a Head Smash that rocked the ground beneath his paws.

It hurt all too well, knowing that the toxic chain had seeped into the minds of the delicate sprouts— much less the giants, the unforeseeable force that had sat in the back of her mind up until she was added into a unique little group chat. There were two of them, stomping their colossal legs beneath their large sprouts. A pair that could have existed as lovers once before, and for what she believed to be just like all the others, undeserving of such a fate.[break][break]

“Tulora,” she spoke softly to the glistening Florges beside her, strumming a hand through a pink tuft of flora. “They could level a city in under an hour, my love. We need to join the others, no matter how hard it may be.”[break][break]

"Draco take it down...." He gives the order to his most trusted companion, and the Dragonite flexes it wings as it stares at the large pokemon, and the barrier that is protecting it. With one of his fists igniting with a torrent of flame, and the other in a frosty aura, he vanishes from sight as quickly as his wings will take him. A combination of his Fire Punch, Ice Punch, and Extreme Speed moves sync up to make a destructive force, of course he understands that he won't be able to damage the creature until it's barrier is down, but perhaps this combination will aid in breaking it down for future attackers to deal actual damage to it.

Whatever it is, he follows the orders of his master to a T, and without hesitation he slams both of his elemental fists against the large barrier at top speed, and lets the flames, and frost glide across the surface of the opaque red barrier. It doesn't break, perhaps there is a small crack, but he doesn't have time to notice before he speeds back to the side of his master to protect him from any oncoming reprisals.

Tera orb in hand, he turns it on his talonflame as her wings flap in anticipation. The twin venusaur are an interesting sight—did they both stumble upon a power spot? Or was it a chain reaction?[break][break]

When the glow fades, she’s encased in a layer of FIRE TERA crystals.[break][break]

“Go help with the barrier, Ziti! Attack it head on!” The talonflame shrieks as she takes the order, rocketing up into the sky like a pin missile headed straight for the massive venusaurs. The more speed she gains, the fire sparks up and collects around the bright red-crystal cloaked plumage of her wings. When she’s close enough, Ziti launches at the barrier with driving force. A FLAME CHARGE seeking to shatter some of the segment as one venusaur bellows out an enraged cry.[break][break]

Meanwhile, Lam lifts his phone, recording the battle as others pitch in to take the venusaur down, recording the whole thing for later observation.

The very grandeur display of what Michael was witnessing easily drowned out the nausea and fatigue because of his exposure to the recent events. The Cadet was fully aware of the spectacle known as Gigantamax Pokemon thanks to livestreams of tournaments in Galar. And now two enormous Venusaur battled at the base of Mount Chimney. Golden pollen mixed with the ashfall. Michael was sure glad he didn't have seasonal allergies.

Eimyrja stood by the Cadet's side. Many more Pokemon Trainers came to Route 112 for aid. If there was one thing that Michael appreciated about the Pokemon World, it was how so many strangers would come together just to help. It filled Michael's heart with hope.

"Let's break those barriers, Eimyrja!" Michael called as he jabbed a finger in its direction. "A Flamethrower won't do the job. Even Dragon Breath might not do the trick. They're Grass Types, so let's try an Inferno!"

"Chaaarmander!" replied the fire lizard!

With a sharp inhale, and burning insides, a fire built up inside the Charmander's throat. She proceeded to expel a massive, roaring blast of flames toward the barriers! The fire stream connected to the barriers. While it appeared to be ineffective at first, the Charmander remained relentless with her attack!

"Keep it up, girl! Almost there!"

Sure enough, one of the segments began to crack under the pressure from the Inferno before shattering! Eimyrja's fire burnt out once the segment of the barriers dissipated. Panting, she looked quite proud of herself.

Michael thrusted his fist in the air in celebration! Though, as his excitement waned, he noticed canine prints nearby on the ash-covered ground.

"Huh."

arriving onto the scene as an auxillary piece, the widescale battle is nothing short of intimidating. petra stands behind the majority out of concern, reluctant but still able to send out her weezing to take part in the skirmish. by observing the others who attacked first, there was a small sense of confidence that she could handle this.

"rory! help us bring down those shields."

conjured by way of the pokeball tossed overheard, the gleaming light was overshadowed by the imminent heat wave that the weezing would expel towards these big leafy assholes that really, really, really deserved to burn.
