Their escapade doesn't take long to be noticed. The echo of a frantic, exasperated 'Mr Angelo!' follows after their passage, sparking a teasing smirk in Skyler's lips. It mixes with a rush of adrenaline as the lush jungle-like canopy grows distant somewhere below them.

"What? Bacon? And here I thought it was my sparkling personality." Wonderment coats her voice, a shared glance betraying the soft curve of her lips. The flock surrounds them in shades of grey and in the whoosh of displaced air, curiosity shining brightly from a myriad of coal-dark irises.

Her hand reaches out and an enthusiastic snout bumps into it, far smaller than that of Luna. Like angelo vestri, she's treated to a fair amount of slobber, which quickly makes its way to her trousers - and is swiftly forgotten.

The last stragglers eventually peel away, joining their flock as the sun-like quartz draws closer to the reach of greedy fingers. Skyler narrows her eyes against the blinding light, a few inches short of touching the crystal.

"Shit- hold on a sec." She teeters precariously atop Luna's back (bless her sea legs) and whistles for Starmie, clambering onto its spiky body in glorious disregard for all sense of self-preservation. 

A well-placed Psychic cracks enough of the material that a chunk of it dislodges itself, falling into eager hands.

"Tyrantrum, huh? 'S not really the arms you should look out for." Angelo Junior being a prime example. Skyler too, but in a wholly different way.

The shark-toothed smile is absent its sharpness, warmth coiling around the words as she lands back onto Luna and (slightly relunctantly) shares her spoils with the pilot.

As it turns out, there is a slight cave-in or something that results in a bunch of people falling through. Remi peers down into it, stepping aside slightly to let the Perrserker help them up. Ladders, ropes, etc are all in effect. When people pull themselves up, she takes the time to pull them up the rest of the way if they accepted her help.

She wipes sweat from her brow and exhales, inclining her head to her Pangoro for them to keep moving. Nothing in particular catches her eye and at this rate, she's happy just to get out of here alive. Some bubbles float past her and she waves them away. This whole expedition had certainly take a turn for the weirder.

the dig had been far more eventful of an experience than he could have ever expected. he’d gone from near-death to a childhood dream come true. so many dinosaurs—but how?

he sat on a rock and ate four sandwiches, marveling at how green the trees were. fearow, practically a dinosaur itself, took to what air existed above them in the new realm.

soon enough, they were on the move again. people were falling into holes, and bo jogged over with a whistle for his bird to help, but the perrserker was already on it by the time he reached the edge. his attention moved to the bubbles rising from it, and he took a step back.

”what the hell…”

after a moment of consideration, his hand went out to tentatively grab a fossil from one of them.
