 little is known about the mysterious PINKAN ISLAND, a territory far off the coast of hoenn. though it's rumored to be the home of unusual flora and fauna, visitors have historically been prohibited from entering to preserve the natural wildlife and defend from poachers.[break][break]
the island is maintained by two HEAD RANGERS who operate independently of Hoenn's ranger system. as such, they remain isolated from Hoenn's general base of operations. their methods and motives are a mystery, though they have a reputation as staunch defenders of their island and all that inhabit it.[break][break]
it's unusual, therefore, for PINKAN ISLAND'S head rangers to reach out to the mainland. but for the first time in decades, the rangers are inviting visitors. the excursion is advertised as a three day camping trip to the island to both sightsee and assist in clean-up following a massive STORM. interested trainers are welcome to fill out a specialized application in order to vet participants. those selected must fulfill the following REQUIREMENTS:[break]

perhaps your character is motivated to explore the natural beauty of pinkan island, or to purely assist in volunteer efforts. perhaps they would simply like to enjoy an island getaway, or probe the mysteries that surround this secluded place. or, perhaps, they wish to exploit it's resources for themselves. whatever the reason, veins of intrigue run deep, and the island promises to be far more than it appears...
RULES
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES! this is a non-de raid event that takes place BEFORE the events of DAWN OF THE DARKEST DAY. [break][break][break]
- you may only sign up with ONE character
- each character is allowed to bring up to TWO pokemon
- rocket characters are welcome to apply so long as their status isn't commonly known to the public
- pokemon movesets are not locked in
- the roll mechanic may be employed as needed for action posts
- please provide a TL;DR at the end of every post
- characters that miss more than one posting round will be retconned out of the event
- mod posts will come every 4-5 DAYS. extensions may be provided on request

each member that participates in the raid to completion will be eligible for the following REWARDS. these may be redeemed in the site shop after the raid is complete:[break][break]
