That Ditto did not plan on giving up, its determination running strong as it once again went for a Magikarp Splash. Hideo would have to consider himself lucky that it didn't break its transformation; he'd probably get disqualified if people found out he had a Ditto in his place.

At this point, Jack was no longer focused on the Magikarp Splash and was just trying to see what sorts of ridiculous flips and rolls he and the Mantine could do. If they managed to complete the trick while they were having fun, all the better. With a grin widening across his face, Jack takes aim at an oncoming wave a spurs the pokemon forward.

Today was the day she tried the Primarina Twist again. As the Magikarp Splash had been for so, so many others, this relatively intermediate trick had been an insurmountable wall so far for her. But she was determined to keep trying until she mastered it.

"Hey, if this works, I'll, uh..." She paused in her cheerful, half-serious chat with the Mantine to ponder. What did Mantines eat, exactly? "I know a really good sushi chef in Lilycove City, if that's something you're into. We could make it work."

With a grin, she rose to her feet atop the Mantine and guided it toward the cresting waves, keeping her center of gravity low and her knees bent, preparing to try the Primarina Twist trick again.
