THE CRISP AUTUMN AIR IS CLEAN AND CALM NEXT TO VERDANTURF. As the last dregs of summer fade, cool winds blows down the peaceful and idyllic route. As the calendar shifts to October, many will find their thoughts on pumpkin spice, candy, and thrills...[break][break]

You, however, happen to be there when the Distortion starts.[break][break]

Whirlwinds whip as powerful pokemon corner you- eventually forcing you take shelter in a large manor you could have swore was never there before.[break][break]

But something else is amiss.[break][break]

It seems you've stumbled right into... a murder.

SETTING AND GOAL

WHAT IS THIS EVENT?

ON THE FATEFUL NIGHT OF OCTOBER 1ST, your trainer has stumbled into another universe thanks to a Distortion suddenly appearing over you. You're trapped inside- but the barrier does seem to be thinning as the night wears on.[break][break]

You're not the only ones here, though, and have been recruited by the Detective on the case to help solve the grisly murder of the mansion over, Madam Maple Peacock. You have a limited number of time to uncover evidence and put the real killer behind bars![break][break]

You will be expected to post once a round, with an expected five rounds. The final mod post will be posted on October 31st, so you will be expected to post once every five days. Due to the short time-frame, there will be no extensions given.[break][break]

This is a PVE event with no PVP elements. While not required, you are encouraged to plan with the other players and discuss theories OOC for the real crime. This event won't allow you to uncover every clue, so you have to be able to weed out the red herrings and focus on what matters![break][break]

You can expect to encounter specific pokemon move pools and how they work with Type Effectiveness charts as a major clue; more details will be in the very first mod post.
