Coming up for breaths every now and then, Desiree and her Cradily found themselves under the bright sunlight that cascaded down into the shallow. It was the perfect day for a lil' torpedo game; throwing some of those plastic torpedo-like pool toys around in the water, back and forth at one another, Cradily would seem to giggle in their own strange way. The pinkette didn't know quite how fossilized pokemon were able to come back to life from their rocky forms, but Trance's existence proved it, alright.[break][break]

While they would throw them, she felt something hard under the stand she was stepping upon. Was this another magnificent treasure, or perhaps a Clamperl? Desiree gave the last one to a league researcher's enthusiastic daughter, her fifteenth of the season. She said she wanted to evolve all of them into Gorebyss.[break][break]

She had skipped a few dives this time. The fervor hadn’t been there, or perhaps she hadn’t felt the need to pursue it so readily as last year. Either way, here she was doing her best diving as deep as it was possible for her.

She searched and searched until her lungs could no more and then she grabbed what she could before ascending.

ANOTHER Z-Crystal? Weren't these supposed to be sort of rare? As Barnaby picked up his find and placed it amongst the other several crystals in his mesh bag, he hoped to have the same sort of luck with the rest of his search.[break][break]

Scratch that. It did NOT get easier the more times June did it. Those stupid pokemon. Got all up in her business as she tried not to lose her cool and ignore the voice in the back of her head. Scared the mouthpiece right out of her... well, mouth. Not only did she nearly drown, but she had to get rescued by a lifeguard! Embarrasing, to say the least.

So why did she stand at the edge of the sea, still geared up and ready to delve once more? Why, the answer was simple.

Tori was doing a lot of things she probably wouldn't. Or least that she didn't. Like going to the beach? Diving in the sea? Then again, this record breaking heat didn't really leave her many options if she was being honest. She needed to go take a dip and better to take part in the summer festivities while doing so. [break][break]

It was just her and her pokémon today. Oz was the one who felt like taking a dip with her in the water. Meanwhile the other's rested on the shore eating their snacks. Tori wasn't exactly searching for anything in particular, she just wanted to escape the scorching heat.[break][break]

The royal dives into the ocean with Decarabia since she had gotten a Mega Shard yesterday which was a nice thing. The Starmie follows its trainer towards an cave that they would explore for a Clamperl with the ambassador taking the Clamperl with her up to the surface. With Decarabia being te protector, the two of them were safe from any threat in the ocean while she would come up for air and open the Clamperl after she takes off her snorkel mask.[break][break]

Okay, today was looking cautiously optimistic for him because for the first time he’d applied alcohol to disinfect his hands they didn’t sting or reel backwards in pain, which meant one thing:

He could go diving into saltwater again!

“About time!” he breathed out, accompanied by the Mantyke this time as they both went into the surf, him smiling at his Water-type as she was literally having the time of her life as she undulated through the waters, while something caught his eye—

At this point he was already done past caring.

He missed diving into the waters after sunset—even if that made it harder to see shit underwater, he didn’t care at all because well, he could be alone with his thoughts as he tried to grapple the situation that he was contending with.

he got another ball, but who doesn't like balls. even loves them so much he can't get enough of them.

he gives his poochyena the ball to keep for now. it probably will be used as a chew toy since kyle doesn't know when the next time he can go out to catch pokemon will be.

as of leaving the ball on his poochyena's care, he goes back to the sea to get another one.

Here he is. The prince of darkness himself. While the dive presented itself as a game, Dylan saw it differently. He stood there at the edge of the water, slowly strapping on a mask and oxygen tank. Any time spent in wilderness, in solitude, is worth savoring. The wind "singing" a note to him, the embrace of the grass. He then leapt up, before holding his arms and legs together, going down in a straight line.
