It was a bit hard to tell throughout the chaos, but it didn't sound like Uxie and the Paradox Pokemon were fighting all that much. He did hear a bit of psychic energy going about (at least, he thought he did), but they just seemed to be standing there?

That was until he heard the Iron Crown approach. Hideo was on guard, unsure of what just happened. He could feel Uxie climb up his body though, which left him feeling anxious. "Uxie? Do something, it's-"

He felt a Psychic energy surround him, the boy helplessly lifted up, released only when he felt the warm metal back of the Iron Crown beneath him. "...you're gonna make me ride-"

He couldn't even finish before the Iron Crown was off, Tachyon Cutters fired off at the rogue Paradox Pokemon that were still around them.

And it's attacking the other enemy Paradox Pokemon with Tachyon Cutters????

Before she even got any response Shred Zeppelin was going to give her, a massive EARTHQUAKE from Gunner Graves 's Salamence ripped through the cavern, causing crystals and ice to fall all around her and the strange Pokémon. Desperate, several more Iron Leaves attacked the first thing in their path: her. With a PSYBLADE beginning to extend from the "hilt" on top of the grass-type's head, she threw a Poké Ball toward it both out of desperation and out of curiosity. It was drawn into the Ball for about a second before shattering it into pieces.

So Poké Balls did work on them.

A second Iron Leaves pounced at Shalin and Sandy, SACRED SWORD drawn. The Flygon, knowing they were in trouble, heaved Shalin off before the yellow blade of light tore through her. Shalin's Sygna Suit instantly became inert - a sign that the Flygon could no longer defend her. Reaching for another Poké Ball, Shalin quickly tossed Flit out beneath her, landing on the buzzing, SINGING dragonfly. The vibrations lulled many of the Iron Leaves to sleep. Shalin wouldn't be safe for long though, an Iron Boulder's STONE EDGE swatting her and her Yanmega out of the sky. She tumbled from low altitude, landing on one of the sleeping Iron Leaves' back.

The Sacred Sword's red, digital eyes gleamed bright as they opened. the Virixion look-alike rearing and bucking. Palming a Poké Ball, she gripped the grass-type's metallic frame as tightly as she could, thankful that the contour of its body was naturally accommodating of a rider. She would need every bit of help she could get.

When simple thrashing would not unseat her, the Iron Leaves started madly swerving. It made a twirling leap through the air, landed facing the opposite direction it was moving, and immediately reversed its momentum by tearing off at a gallop again. Shalin's ride was very stop-and-go, the grass-type trying to bash her unwanted rider's forehead into the back of her own bladed head. The Captain let out a loud yelp as the legendary look-alike danced in CLOSE COMBAT, unpredictably flinging its body around at angles she thought were impossible. Had she not had the deranged idea to sit on the very cracker of her Venusaur's vine while in her Sygna Suit, she would have been hurled off almost instantly.

With another spinning leap, the Iron Leaves TERASTALLIZED into a Psychic-type, her red eyes turning a deep pink as she drew its PSYBLADE. With a primal cry, the Iron Leaves used its psychic powers to pry open the hands gripping her unwanted rider. This also caused the Poké Ball in her hand to fall onto the Iron Leaves. Drawn into it and being so worn out from trying to buck Shalin off, it had little strength to avoid capture.

Slowly but surely, others are beginning to filter into the chasm, be it through falling or flying. Some, like Shalin Nariya , stop to check in on you. Others, like Gunner Graves , are content to immediately start attacking. Frankly, you're more the latter than the former, especially given the circumstances. You don't even dignify any questions with a response, mainly because you're too busy fighting for your life.

The Iron Leaves seems naturally stronger than your Slither Wing, but having the sun on your side does allow for Protosynthesis to make up the difference. It's an even fight, but that's hardly accurate, is it? As soon as you drop one horse, it won't be long before another is upon you. No, if you want to make it out of this, then you're just going to have to put your thumb on the scales.

"Sure hope this doesn't backfire..." You grimace behind your mask, pulling your Tera Orb out of your pocket. Your mind thinks back to your conversation with Lulu Flint , lingering on the notion that the Terastal phenomenon is some manner of extradimensional poison that's destroying the world. But, well, if you're using poison to destroy poison, it can't be that bad, right? So, as long as you wreck this chasm to the point where it stops spewing out these robots, then it should cancel itself out. Probably. "Here goes nothing!"

Throwing forth the orb, it makes contact with your Slither Wing, imbuing it with the power of Tera Fire. Then, with a chittering roar, the prehistoric beast lets loose a Flare Blitz, smashing into the Iron Leaves and slamming them into the wall. The strange deer is powerless against the supereffective sun-boosted tera-enhanced attack, and your futuristic foe crumples to a heap.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▃▃▄▄▅▅▅!"

"Thank fuck."

Well, "thank fuck" might be overselling it. Not much to be thankful for right now, but at the very least, you're making progress. As you examine the wrecked body of the Iron Leaves, you hear the ever-irritating voice of @xenon shrieking from your radio, demanding that these strange beings be captured for the purpose of "science" or some shit like that. Catching them, huh? Well, you might as well, right? You don't particular want one of these things, but if it'll get you on the good side of the science department...

With a shrug, you throw the Pokeball towards the Iron Leaves. And then, wobble, wobble, wobble, CLICK!

TL;DR - Shred Tera Fires his Slither Wing (in the sun), hits the sickest Flare Blitz known to cavernkind, and captures himself an IRON LEAVES.
