Josh's busy schedule of late always seemed to leave him with a Mantine he wasn't happy with for trying to perform the exceedingly challenging OVER-THE-GYARADOS. At this point, he wasn't sure to blame the wave generator, his Mantine, or his own skill. He quickly set out as soon as a Mantine became available. accelerated, and started directing the water-type to perform twist after twist as soon as they were clear of the waves.

Shalin's frustration with the STARMIE 720 continued to grow. This wasn't even supposed to be an expert-level trick! A little on edge from how long it was taking her to even succeed at the first half of the technique once, she set out on the twilight waves with the only unoccupied Mantine on the docks at this late hour. She tried timing the flips a bit earlier than she did before. All she needed to do was get through the first half, and the whirling finish would not only be easy for her, but fun!
