Knowing she wasn't going to make it after getting insufficient air, Shalin pulled some impressive freestyling with the Mantine, ultimately taking it as close as she could to the reef before switching to Levy and having the Milotic ferry her the rest of the way to her favorite dive spot. When she arrived, she saw another person there; it must have really become slim pickings to go that far out of the way now.

Cleaning up trash on the bottom of the ocean was a respectable venture, and Rowan wasn't exactly complaining about the treasures that he'd find among the refuse. Being in the waters, among the Pokémon he valued so highly, was calming. It took his mind off the impending doom that loomed over all of them, and for a moment allowed his mind to be distracted. This was what was important to him, and he'd keep doing it as long as he could.

after finally nailing the magikarp splash perfectly, nina decided to take a dip and look for more treasure. this time, she brought out her milotic to help her look. it swam over the sand at the bottom, beautiful tail stirring it and uncovering something new.
