Remiel returns to the sea with his pack of diving gear in hand. The last time he'd taken a dive, a darling CLAMPERL had decided to latch onto his shoulder and join him on the way back. This time, he wasn't sure what he'd find.

Perhaps a terrifying leviathan? Or another cute sea creature? No. He had a feeling he'd find some real treasure today. Something tangible.

Slateport's shelf beneath the waves was almost exactly as Shalin remembered it. Though it was a bit early to have to resort to her secret spot from last year, what with the main stash still so fruitful, she sunk to the shelf floor with the help of Levy, her Milotic. The serpent's lithe body would be necessary to navigate some sharp twists in the reef. After negotiating them once, it came to her as naturally as riding any Pokémon. There was an entire extra layer of shiny finds just waiting to be unearthed. A faint glint of light from one such object was enough for her to reach for it, carefully navigate the coral maze in reverse, and surface, showing off her Pokémon's beauty with a breathtaking jump.

Josh was relieved that Funtasia had moved to Slateport. Yes, it wasn't as convenient for him to go to the carnival anymore, but he didn't have to be there so often running his attraction anymore. Instead of running it four days the week it was in Mauville, he was only running it for two. Yes, it gave him joy seeing young ones getting their feet wet riding Pokémon, but it was also a big time sink. Thankfully, he could run his attraction at no charge to the organizers, and it would count as community service! Between Lilycove and Mauville, he had already racked up 24 hours he could report to the League. Late next year, he would be able to put this whole thing behind him and start living like a normal person would.

Now was not the time to lament, though; it was instead time to zoom past other divers and hopefully get his first pick of what remained from the huge treasure pile beneath Slateport's waters! Josh's Sharpedo was simply too fast, slower traffic forced to yield to the vicious sea creature. One hand on Snacker's reins and the other reaching for the first thing he saw that brightly glinted in the low light, he found something he felt was worth taking to the surface.

Setsuna continued her fun in the sun as she swam about like a Seel.[break][break]

Her movements could rival those of a professional diver. She turned gracefully through the water and worked with the weightlessness it offered. She swam for fun anyway - and the calm sea was a far cry from raging rapids and winding rivers. Here there were no threats of wild Pokémon defending their territory or poachers to contend with. Setsuna claimed her prize - it was a metallic sphere of red and white! Still, could always use another Pokéball!

Another day another dive, though she definitely hadn’t been doing it with the same gusto as last year’s Clamperl Diving, Elinor would nonetheless dive into the waters expectantly.

But what would she find beneath the waves as she fought the urge to surface, lungs heaving for air but being denied. She hoped it would be something worthwhile.

Deep under the sea that she found herself was a beautiful arch in the coral, an upside down u shape covered in the colorful physical manifestations of the coastal livelihood- it was just like some of the canyons that spanned the non-coastal sides of Ambrette Town back in Kalos, though underwater and painted exquisitely with life. Swimming through it with her Clamperl held in her hands, the two would flow with the current that swept within, getting pulled deeper out slowly.[break][break]

A big seashell was at the center of the arch, quickly making it into her free hand. Like the big discarded clamshell she found the day before, something clearly raddled inside of it- but it would be too easily swept away if she pulled it out at the bottom of the ocean. Making her way up, Desiree wondered what magnificent treasure resided within.

Well, what kind of things would they find in the ocean now? Decarabia follows its trainer down to the ocean near the coast of Lilycove for the royal to have a chance of winning something she probably hadn't before. With finding a cave together and getting teh Clamperl out of it, the two of them swim up to the ocean's surface and get some air from her snorkel mask. Decarabia awaits to find out what she gets when the royal ambassador opens it.[break][break]

his poochyena looks happy whenever he resurfaces from the water at least.

its tail wags as kyle approaches him back with another trash from the sea. droplets of sea water drip from his fingers as he scratches the top of the dark-type's head, though he supposed the dog was already wet from the mist anyways to start worrying about it.

shrugging the threat of wet dog smell off, he goes back to the water.
