The colours in the water never failed to be stunning; coral burgeoned and with it numerous fish and other sea-life flitted in and out of its cracks and crevasses. She thinks back to last summer, during which her life took a course she never could have imagined. Change wasn't so bad, she decided, before spying something wedged in the coral.

Thankfully the packages he was waiting for finally arrived, and so his gift to the ~~love of his life~~ the other half of his soul was finally complete… and he had to let out a little guffaw.

If last year was water-themed, this year was fire.

So what’s next? Earth? Air? Are we going for the Avatar state here? he cackled quietly to himself as he realized that…

He’d forgotten to bake the birthday cake.

“Are you kidding me?!” he exclaimed, his voice going so high as he jumped down into the water without hesitation—he would have to make today’s dive extremely quick because he still had to pick up baking supplies!

Yesterday’s find resembled the other two he already had sitting around so far, and he wondered if having three and putting them all together resulted in something special? He hummed at the thought.

Today was the day Arja the Mareanie was out of time-out, and now the two Water-types were getting along swimmingly.

“Come on, you two, let’s go!” he said as he took the lead and dove into the water, the Mareanie and Mantyke following him as he saw something shiny and made to grab it before resurfacing.

Mipha would join her in diving down to the ocean as the Vaporeon swims alongside her trainer which the royal ambassador would find a cave near a coral reef. Elise breathes in her snorkeling mask as Mipha helps to push a Clamperl over to the royal and they would come up to the surface. The Vaporeon comes up to see Elise opening up the Clamperl and wondering what they'll get for their spoil today.[break][break]

the water was cold, but the air above the surface was warm. there was no in-between and going to the beach was purgatory.

kyle somehow doesn't mind as long as he gets free things. he doesn't need them, given that his paycheck is probably one of the highest in the region, but the fun of treasure hunting was priceless.

The end of Funtasia was rapidly approaching, and with it, the treasure field near Dewford Island was drying up. There was no time for playing around anymore; in Josh's mind, it was a competition of speed to get to the best of what remained. Seated on his Sharpedo, he would race to the shelf floor every day he attended the carnival, keeping his eyes open for something rare he could pull up. He couldn't be that picky later in the week, but there was still time for him to haul up a big find, right?

Shalin frowned when she reached the Dewford shelf's floor; apparently another diver had discovered the hidden passageway to get to the underwater cave's lowest level, where the best treasures were hidden. More were following, too; had the main veins become so thin that people were taking the extra effort to make sure they could surface with anything at all? Urgency set in, the Captain-in-Training ordering her Milotic to speed up. With powerful swishes of her tail, the undulating Pokémon accelerated, winding his way around the place's many twists and turns before his rider snatched up something she would be satisfied to take to the surface.

An early morning dive like this was wonderful. Honestly, she ought to do it more often, and not just because she was searching for treasure.

But be that as it may, treasure was the name of the game for now. And she searched far and wide for however long her lungs allowed it. Would she be lucky today? Perhaps.

Just what was up with all these pokeballs sitting at the bottom of the ocean? They were empty, of course; but the thought that one may not have been at one point was wildly concerning to think about, at least, in Desiree's eyes. If a trainer were to drop an occupied pokeball into the ocean, would the pokemon be able to break free and live life until it found the company of another? The idea made her want to be extra careful from here on out, even if she'd always released her companions to roam beside her on the aquatic adventures into the deep.[break][break]

Trying to keep up with the extremely quick mythical pokemon, the two would make it to another coral reef- and this one was massive, almost to the point it was downright insane. Following the gleam of a sparkle tucked in the center of a giant underwater structure of the coral, the two would wonder if any more deep-sea crystals awaited them. All they could do was swim further into the clusters, hand in hand.[break][break]
