It had been quite a long time since she had ridden on the back of a Greninja in general, but as Shalin Nariya had recommended, Desiree eventually had got to visiting Verdanturf Leather and Saddle to get Azure fitted. With a magnificent and fitting design on the saddle, resembling little silk blossoms, they were now fit to shoot into the ocean- and that they would.[break][break]

Skidding into the waters saddleback, the pinkette and the water type would be out there faster and deeper than any other day. If she'd not been able to hold onto the reins firmly and direct Azure to go straight out, she would have flung about into the waves. But they were actually able to express that balance well, making it deeper and deeper. It was only lit enough to see like one was in a room with ultraviolet lights would be able to, but keeping an eye out for a glimmer, Desiree would look for yet another fruitful blessing of the sea. This wasn’t so bad after all—he’d even managed to avoid a school of feebas that drifted toward him without totally freaking out. Maybe he should go swimming more often? Ikarus Rook would probably like that, given his appreciation of the water. Who knew that diving for little treasures would be helpful? Maybe he could nab a few more things before turning in for the day.

he supposed he shouldn't be surprised that complaining gets him what he wants. that's always how the world works for some reason despite the lack of logic behind the reasoning.

kyle eyes the shard he got from the sea, sparkling in a familiar sheen once he places it against the light of the sun. there was no doubt of its authenticity, as kyle knows the difference between random shards from the distortion and the one from the meteorite.

he tosses it back again to his poochyena, adding it to the pile, before diving right back in for another one.

Okay, so at least the situation between his Mantyke and Mareanie had been sorted out—and now it was a race between the two to bring him back something first frim the surf!

(Look, in his defense, he had a paper cut on both of his hands; and diving in salty water would only exacerbate the injury, so he had to stay out of the surf for a few days… ouch.)

“Did you find anything—” he trailed off as he saw that the Mareanie and the Mantyke were fighting between themselves to bring… whatever it was they found from underwater!

The royal ambassador gives her Starmie a turn in diving with her down to the ocean since she wanted to have something relaxing to do from trying to ignore the heat from the sun. Decarabia follows its trainer towards one of the caves with the starfish Pokemon spinning in the water to move with her. Its core glows red since it wanted to keep her safe from anything that would come after them though it does help pick up one of the Clamperl to take it back to the surface. As she swam up to the surface with Decarabia's Psychic holding the Clamperl up, the Starmie hands the Clamperl to the royal for her to open it up.[break][break]

"There's gotta be more stuff in there." Howard stifled a yawn as he leaned against Shirley. The sun certainly felt good. "But I've been attacked by one too many Clamperls to keep going. Read: one Clamperl.

Speaking of...

Howard eyed the pokeball with his most recent catch in it. He had an idea. Deftly tossing the pokeball into the ocean, Howard leaned back and sighed contentedly. This was nice. Hopefully his Clamperl came back, though.

The pair clambered back up on the floating platform with a grin. Cleaning this place up—removing whatever clutter had been left below—filled the pair with a sense of purpose. They’d both assisted in treating Carracosta with straws up their nose and Barraskewda clogged up by a Pokeball.

The briefest of breaks was punctuated with a shared protein bar. After giving their stomachs a few minutes to settle, the pair dove back into the water. This time, the redhead took the lead. Instead of the head fin, she latched on to the Swamperts tail fin, her eyes still full of wonder and curiosity.

As Josh and Resheph, the Gym Leader's prized Dragonair, made their way to the sea bed after another long day running his attraction, it was clear that the main diving area was no longer a good place to find good treasure. Almost all of the large, half-buried objects were gone. Thankfully, the Gym Leader had done some scouting, finding a winding tunnel that was easy for Dragonair to navigate but hard for many other species to do so. While the pile of loot beyond was small, it was pretty clearly undisturbed. This chamber would be his secret, taking his fair share from it every day he could. With his find in hand, Josh and Resheph surfaced, tilting the object in his hand toward the sunlight to identify it.
