THE PRIMAL KYOGRE FIRES ITS ORIGIN PULSE AT SOOTOPOLIS' WALLS. However, Team Rocket's ships filled with VOLTORB & ELECTRODE are detonated to disrupt the Legendary's attack. However, thanks to the League's intervention and more, the resulting explosion does not harm the KYOGRE as much as it would have. Furthermore, the exploding Rocket ships also prevent the Leviathan from completely bulldozing through.[break][break]

Regardless, the crater wall, weakened by illeana reyes and MATIAS SILPH falls apart, allowing KYOGRE to breach the city—and the CAVE OF ORIGIN where sariel duong, verona santillian, kyle lopez's ENTEI, Leilani Keawe, Aurelie Lefevre and Mitsuru Kagami are. The cave is exposed, and as the frenzied KYOGRE continues its violent deluge, RAYQUAZA descends, summoned by freya morningstar.[break][break]

Sent to the city as additional reinforcements, KANTONIAN TEAM ROCKETS prepare to contest breaching League forces. As an armored and armed CALYREX prepares to wage war with the crime syndicate, cold waters begin to flood the crater... placing everyone and everything at risk of drowning.

Shred nearly kills june sleigh before fate and TING-LU'S PRESENCE IN THE UNDERGROUND brings MIRAIDON & KORAIDON to them. The two anomalies bestow their power unto the two and the region is plunged into war.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Mark Cunningham has hacked a Team Rocket virus onto SATELLITE COZMO. Once it is launched, Lulu Flint will continue to track its trajectory and gather data once it is in orbit. Meanwhile, giada morgan successfully launches one satellite on behalf of the League.

[attr="class","prompt0"]ameena abadi and Montgomery James face each other as INTERDREAM MIST spills onto the battlefield. As they struggle against each other, the two witness a THERIAN TORNADUS escaping into the region from INTERDREAM ZONE. ameena abadi attempts to kill Montgomery James, but falls asleep while the Unovan laments their "what ifs".

[attr="class","prompt0"]Fenelle Miller attempts to keep ollie morales and PENELOPE LIVY from relocating to MOSSDEEP SPACE CENTER by commanding GENESECT through der device. Saved and then spared by ollie morales, Fenelle Miller leaves for SOOTOPOLIS, burned by PENELOPE LIVY's scathing words.

[attr="class","prompt0"]GOD GENERAL Zev Harcourt has bought enough time for Mark Cunningham, Alba Evovae, Naomi Sato and Neffatari Nzingha to complete their operations in the space center. Furthermore, he is able to destroy many of the League's satellites from successfully launching into orbit, severely hampering future space operations. Similarly, Gwyar Wledig has allowed enough time for Yujin Ha to fire the artillery on rocket ships; he has also destroyed a mobile POWER SPOT. Their draw keeps MOSSDEEP safe.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Yujin Ha alerts Gwyar Wledig of Rocket's infiltration of MOSSDEEP SPACE CENTER and has entrusted Elaine Highland with intel for safekeeping. With Niola Winchester, the two women encounter interferences from both Mark Cunningham, Fenelle Miller, and Hitoshi Inoue. After Niola Winchester identifies they are being hacked, she attempts to get in contact with giada morgan. They are soon attacked by Makoto Kurumi and their symbiote-bonded DEOXYS. Niola Winchester trains security cameras on the Rocket and alien and as she fights alongside Yujin Ha, the Interpol Engineer. Yujin Ha manages to fend Makoto Kurumi off and activate the SHORE BATTERIES, successfully destroying several Rocket ships though she does not know it at the time.[break][break]

Makoto Kurumi has PERMANENTLY unlocked the ability to symbiotically join with DEOXYS and detach when needed. However, they will require more experience to symbiotically bond for longer and more effectively.

[attr="class","prompt0"]With Naomi Sato's assistance, Neffatari Nzingha has managed to steal blueprints of space tech, research; rocket will be able to create their OWN SPACE CENTERS in due time- but Noel Parker has marred the intel by damaging data of PAST INVOLVEMENT OF JULES COTILLARD AND THE USE OF MEGA STONES FOR ENERGY. Throughout the conflict, Naomi Sato is targeted by DRK TRIAD ASSASSINS. Unnervingly, Naomi Sato is taunted by FATHER WINTER OF THE DRK TRIAD during the heist.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Genevieve Cromwell can not protect a coastal artillery station from falling due to Hitoshi Inoue's attack. Consequently, a Rocket ship will come back to Sootopolis. Hitoshi Inoue pushes Genevieve Cromwell to her absolute limits, smiling atop his GIGANTAMAXED LAPRAS. After suffering major losses, a TAPU BULU is delivered to her by Commissioner dahlia goode.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Incredibly, Yuina Higashi has PERMANENTLY unlocked the ability to conjure small, isolated SPACE-TIME DISTORTIONS. bryan delarosa senses something dreadful about to happen in SOOTOPOLIS CITY. Perhaps, it is the 'fixed point' in time Yuina Higashi senses is imminent.

[attr="class","prompt0"]THEO BECKETT and Raziel Beckett clash near MOSSDEEP. THEO BECKETT gains the upper hand due to their "deal". Consequently, THEO BECKETT forces Raziel Beckett to accompany him as they return to SOOTOPOLIS in a hostage-like situation.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Due to his ferocious bout with parker jones, Beau Fontaine has unlocked ULTRA BURST for his URSHIFU and will be able to replicate it in the future. After some time, parker jones will be able to reconnect with her love, Naomi Sato, after Fenelle Miller's communication jamming subsides.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Elaine Highland escapes MOSSDEEP SPACE CENTER with intel entrusted to her by Yujin Ha. The intel contains an employee list and CONSTELLATION LIST She is stopped by elijah gardner who temporarily takes nabi park as hostage in order to retrieve the intel for Team Rocket. However, he is deceived by both Elaine Highland and nabi park and departs with a fake SD card.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Alba Evovae is blown out of the MOSSDEEP SPACE CENTER before he saves himself with his BEHEEYEM'S TELEPORT. He comes face to face with Greyson Connors and his ZAMAZENTA.[break][break]

However, the scientist is soon saved by an ETERNAL FLOETTE; consequently, he is formally bestowed the Pokémon by Team Rocket (add to PC and choose moveset like a GACHAPON POKEMON; however, it must always know LIGHT OF RUIN). In the process, Greyson Connors secures MOSSDEEP'S NORTHERN SHORE.

[attr="class","prompt0"]mint frost and raphael dos plumas clash with lam logan on the shallow shores of MOSSDEEP. Covertly, FATHER WINTER OF THE DRK TRIAD teases mint frost who has become grotesque by GALARIAN ARTICUNO'S BLESSING. An INCARNATE TORNADUS, drawn by the presence of a THERIAN TORNADUS nearby, comes to lam logan's aid. Eventually, raphael dos plumas follows mint frost's bidding, seizing lam logan while mint frost manipulates his memory. lam logan departs with VIRIZION.[break][break]

However, should lam logan desire, the INCARNATE TORNADUS will formally join him, desiring to assist the League with the fight, while curious about the appearances of their THERIAN counterparts. Perhaps, in the future this TORNADUS can access its THERIAN FORM too?

[attr="class","prompt0"]robin coello, Gwendolyn Conway and Roy Aker are dispatched to SOOTOPOLIS and successfully clear an island of its GENESECT ARTILLERY.[break][break]

robin coello unlocks her latent PSYCHIC ABILITIES after encountering a SHINY DUSKULL in DRACONID RUINS, while Roy Aker uncovers a ZYGARDE CUBE that allows him to summon a 10% ZYGARDE. robin coello kills a League soldier who attempts to stop a frenzied Gwendolyn Conway. Afterward, they are mysteriously visited by QUANTO OF THE DRK TRIAD who warns that the three are being watched by their shadow organization.

[attr="class","prompt0"]paxton concordas infiltrates Calliope Alvara's ship and discovers that this ship and other ships house dozens of VOLTORB & ELECTRODE ready for detonation. paxton concordas communicates with members of the League. Empowered by Cillian Quinn's SHADOW ABILITIES, Calliope Alvara proves to be a dangerous foe. However, paxton concordas kills her NOCTOWL before steering the ship toward the others, disrupting the formation some before the it explodes.

[attr="class","prompt0"]As a newly knighted warrior, Navy contests Tempest Quinn and Cillian Quinn in the seas surrounding SOOTOPOLIS. "SEALEO IS VAST" is communicated to Team Rocket as KYOGRE passes, prompting the ships with VOLTORB & ELECTRODE to steer themselves into defensive formation. However, a civilian boat drives into KYOGRE's path. Valiantly, Navy and his Pokemon make great sacrifices to stall the whale, while Cillian Quinn and attempts to SHADOW HOLD the beast. Ultimately, Tempest Quinn's Pokemon pushes the boat to safety. Together, the three successfully allow the civilian boat to pass before KYGORE reaches the city.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Grigori Sokolov and Caleb Harcourt fight on a Rocket ship designated for detonation. However, in the end, the ship explodes prematurely. Caleb Harcourt is thrown overboard, while Grigori Sokolov attempts to save the Harcourt before both are struck by the ensuing explosion...

[attr="class","prompt0"]Melody Miro and Aoki Hana clash on the seas. She is able to put several VOLTORB & ELECTRODE in Rocket's defensive ships to sleep—but Aoki Hana's intervention disrupts the efficacy of the Top Champion's maneuver. The ships will eventually detonate and harm/stall the KYOGRE during its ORIGIN PULSE; however, the collaborative effort of the League has saved the KYOGRE from incurring more harm.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Thomas Benoit and fern delaney clash with their respective TAPU KOKOs. During their battle, Thomas Benoit's TAPU KOKO demonstrates immense strength compared to when it was bonded with FORMER AVATAR SELENA DESMARAIS. The intensity of their fight pushes fern delaney's TAPU KOKO to bless them with a potent power.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Avatars jayden cross and BARNABY FINCH are contested by a SYGNA SUITED freya morningstar and ana fell. In the middle of battle, Team Rocket's CALYREX tosses a DYNA FRUIT to revitalize BARNABY FINCH's GALARIAN MOLTRES. However, it is struck by a MOONBLAST fired from ana fell's ingenious and unique SYGNA SUIT-PROSTHETIC. jayden cross's CHIEN-PAO appears to save him, while RAYQUAZA descends upon the crater city.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Remiel Calcifet is dispatched to SOOTOPOLIS to assist with the KYOGRE CRISIS and to interfere with TEAM ROCKET'S NAVAL DEFENSE. He is challenged by Victoria Beckett and Jill Nightingale. Victoria Beckett's extensive training allows her to survive, but Remiel Calcifet's ZEKROM kills Jill Nightingale with a ROCKSLIDE before it departs with its trainer.

[attr="class","prompt0"]illeana reyes is challenged by declan walsh. She alludes to having conspired with Rocket. Driven further into her own madness, the Boss continues to goad her into demonstrating her abilities. By the end, she summons PALKIA to weaken the crater wall before declan walsh disappears.

[attr="class","prompt0"]annalise henderson is challenged by "another" declan walsh. As they fight, a MEW arrives to assist. As a result, the League has formally bestowed the former Head Ranger with the MEW. MATIAS SILPH eventually arrives after raising the island Melody Miro and annalise henderson had created (Melody of Memory event). He and annalise henderson challenge declan walsh, while the former weakens the crater wall. Afterwards, declan walsh disappears.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Phoebe Myst and Lydia Magnusson clash on the seas. In the battle, Phoebe Myst draws THE TOWER, REVERSED, a tarot card that suggests a resistance to change. Perhaps, an ominous sign of what is to come in Sootopolis. Lydia Magnusson is tossed under the sea while Phoebe Myst attempts to stop the KYOGRE to no avail.

[attr="class","prompt0"]Adrian Malcolm and Rowan Wrynn contest a nearby League vessel carrying Laurence Anderson and Oliver Shrakes. Thanks to a STONJOURNER FORMATION created a long time ago by Adrian Malcolm, the ship's approach is effectively interrupted. By the end, Adrian Malcolm and Rowan Wrynn solidify their bond in the face of war.

[attr="class","prompt0"]verona santillian and sariel duong chase kyle lopez's ENTEI deep into the CAVE OF ORIGIN. The cave is smothered in TERA CRYSTALS, which incidentally summon another ENTEI. verona santillian and sariel duong bloody their hands by slaying the imagined ENTEI, while kyle lopez's ENTEI escapes them. In the process, a TOXAPEX is caught by the Priestess verona santillian.

[attr="class","prompt0"]When kyle lopez's ENTEI disrupts the evacuated civilians in the CAVE OF ORIGIN, Mitsuru Kagami, Leilani Keawe and Aurelie Lefevre give chase. However, TERA CRYSTAL growth forces them in a different direction compared to verona santillian and sariel duong. They encounter an odd TERA TREE that is an abstract reflection of some reality, for it is an absurd amalgamation between SOOTOPOLIS' GREAT DYNA TREE and the PETRIFIED TREE OF bryan delarosa'S XERNEAS. Eventually, they see a BLUE STALACTITE, which appears to be the beginnings of another BLUE ORB...

THIS IS A RAID EVENT where characters post every round, attempting actions and/or responding to prompts or scenarios present within provided MODERATOR POSTS. Oftentimes, characters must make use of the ROLL command, which can determine the success of actions and/or create narrative tension.

RAID EXAMPLE

This event is "DEATH-ENABLED". However, one should not worry too much about Pokemon or characters dying. Depending on player action, these high stakes can potentially be navigated without loss. Regardless, players can collaborate with me if they would like to craft dramatic moments like sacrifices, if it is able to be integrated into the event well.[break][break]

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to take advantage of this event to connect with new characters and to step out of your comfort zones. These events often act as a springboard for a variety of plots in its aftermath, with consequences that impact the wider site narrative and/or setting.[break][break]

Considering shiv's current health, this event will likely be SHORT, HAVE QUICKER TURNAROUNDS & HAVE LESS DETAILED MODERATOR POSTS. It is up to you to develop your stories, your dramatic moments, and more in response to the scenario presented.[break][break]

The plan is to conclude this event by the END OF AUGUST.[break][break]

• remember that although i am essentially the DUNGEON MASTER or GAME MASTER of this event, much of this event's enjoyment and storytelling rests upon the players shoulders. collaborate with what i provide in each moderator post and each other for the best result!

However, if you are a NEW WRITER and would like to involve yourself in this raid event, please let me (shiv) know and I may make an exception.[break][break]

Those who have already signed up in the The First Wave: Prelude Sign Ups do not need to repost their Pokemon/movesets. Instead, you can just say you're participating in a cheeky comment below![break][break]
