Yuina only barely managed to blink, managed to cough through heaving breaths, clutching the burning surface of the boulder she stood beside with nails that were jagged at trying to pull herself up by nothing else. The dynabeam the golem had fired became too much too impossibly quick, she couldn't muster it.[break][break]
She contemplated what it was worth, trying to keep going in the fight, against something that wielded power none of them could have possibly been prepared for. And then it stopped, creaking to a halt... For a moment, as Yuina coughed up dirt and sand that was forced into her lungs, she held a small, tiny flickering candle of hope... Only for it to be squandered as the Golem lurched forward again. Another series of cryptic lettering... silent... sealed... the past... A tomb? It was getting harder to focus...[break][break]
Yuina's Venusaur glowered, shaking sand from its leaves. Yuina huffed again, standing herself up against the boulder she clung to and urged the grass type forward, releasing another barrage of Razor Leaf at the titanic golem.

The fact that they had been able to avoid taking too much damage was a shock. Elaine and Gallade were still in this, even if a bit worse for wear. Their last attack had counted.

The last strike had not turned the battlefield into their tomb.

"Let's keep going"

They would keep going until they dropped. That was all they could do at this point. No matter how minute, they would still be able to help out.

"Strike it down."

The Gallade once again charged in with its Leaf Blade to strike at the titan.

The constant pelting against the Registeel's weak point had the beast reeling. It was working. They were actually starting to break through. But it wasn't over yet. There was still much work that needed to be done or else this entire place would be their tomb.[break][break]

In order to keep up the pressure, Noel shouts out to his Milotic to continue on with their offense. They weren't out of this fight yet, and he didn't plan on having it end here. While others around him looked worse for wear, he still stood strong. "Just a bit more," he thought to himself.[break][break]

His Milotic revs up for another attack. If the Hydro Cannon worked last time, then it would work again. At least they hoped so. So the water serpent shoots off a blast of water against the titan, hoping to destroy a piece of its barrier.

Even with the disabling blow to its arm, the REGISTEEL simply reactivated it. Josh had realized that a battleground this intense was not the place for him. "Andrea Vaneau , Raziel Beckett , Yuina Higashi ... I'm sorry, but I'm in no physical condition to continue on..." he moaned from the hard hit he took to his good side. Nothing that caused a long-term injury, but now both his left and right sides were hurting.

Nitro's horns glowed a bright green, charging a SOLAR BEAM between them. With a war cry, the grass-type looses the searing column of light upon the REGISTEEL's face. "Hoenn needs me. And I know I cannot die here." For if he kept going with his injuries, he would find himself in an inescapable tomb where he could help no one. Not even himself.

The Registeel slams down, attacking Trainers and not pokemon. That flicked some type of alarm in Tempest's head; it had only been in Kanto that pokemon had first started these types of aggressive attacks, wasn't it? So why was an ancient construct, something made in ancient times by Mother and her Sisters, so hellbent on killing them all?[break][break]

It was like a computer program that had warped and ran a muck in those science fiction shows.[break][break]

Either way, it looked like kasper thaler and their Sylveon were about to go SPLAT in the sand. Not wanting this to become his junior's Tomb, Tempest acted.[break][break]

A steely arm swings, seeking to make this place someone's tomb, and Shagaru is sent flying into El. They yelp as they're both sent tumbling across the sand - nearly losing grip of their cane in the process.

Ow. That hurt. That really hurt, in fact. It was clear at just a glance that Shagaru wasn't doing well; the massive Registeel was no joke. But, he still had some juice left in him as his wings flutter and beat, allowing him to upright himself and once more seek out the next person to protect.

Which, in this case, would be Eris Halla ; the blazing Volcarona shielding her and her Sprigatito from harm, and weathering the chaos with one more Giga Drain upon the Registeel.

El had a feeling that they may need to back down soon - but they'd make sure that Eris would be okay for the time being. "D-Don't overdo it, okay?" They caution her, calling over the howling winds - even as they're swaying a little on their feet themself. "We can always fall b-back if things... If things get too dangerous!"

Better well and able to regroup, than seriously injured - or worse.

This fucker just didn't know when to quit, did he? How many more times you would have to hammer this big metal bastard before he took a hint and went down? Seriously...

Oh well. Nothing for it. If its that much of a glutton for punishment, then you'll simply have to oblige it. So, enough playing support, enough shielding and hindering and the like. priam stops breathing for the moment, watching the exact second of the weak point being damaged by multiple participants slow down.

did we finally do it? the question rings in his head.

he is given false hope once more, though this isn't the only time he has experienced it. priam is used to the feeling, and when the titan moves once more, he cannot find himself flinching.

perhaps its the heat of the mark that finally slowed down the extreme activities in his head that his body involuntarily shuts down all unneeded functions, concentrating solely on preventing himself from making the desert his tomb.

"let's reposition, meggy!" he shouts, hopping on the meganium's back. "trailblaze!"

as the registeel begins its rampage, priam attempts to move away from the danger zone with his pokemon. besides, they can't possibly fire an impressive attack while simultaneously praying they won't get hit by collateral damage.
