— age 22 (nov 2018) with one region conquered, rocket shifts its focus to a new target. dmitri advocates for his family to be involved in this latest expansion, and rocket lands in slateport city, hoenn. [break]

— age 26 (june 2022) jayden, alongside elisabeth fiorelli and felix gallagher, ascends to the rank of admin directly after the events of the darkest day in sootopolis city. [break]

— age 26 (sept 2022) the power of three, an assembly of team rocket's leadership, convenes in sootopolis city to strategize their plans for meteno 99943. this meeting also marks jayden's debut as a member of rocket brass, since becoming admin. [break]

he also starts to get closer to a fellow rocket named fern delaney, who also happens to be his sootopolis neighbor. [break]

— age 26 (oct 2022) meteno 99943 finally strikes hoenn. jayden is stationed in littleroot.

[break] following the impacts of meteno, where several rocket recruits died, jayden begins collaborating with their kanto regime to bring recruits over to their hoenn branch. given the various regulations surrounding it, however, the process is long and arduous. [break]

— age 27 (april 2023) in bury me low, declan walsh calls upon jayden cross after learning of his betrayal with ashley shepherd. he questions his skill, his competency, and worst of all — his loyalty. after all, if an admin cannot do what needs to be done, does he deserve to be admin in the first place?

[break] shortly thereafter, team rocket summons its recruits for a confrontation in the ultra deep sea, engaging the league in their quest for the seal stone. the event is known as 'postdormitum'. in these fights, it can be seen that jayden has become highly aggressive — perhaps a result of his recent darkrai branding by declan walsh.

[break] during the event, the interdream mist takes advantage of jayden's fraying mental state. it manifests one of his worst fears — alexei volkov — into the present. fern delaney must protect jayden's unconscious body, a result of a prior clash with latios' avatar. when he awakens by fern's side, he finally confesses his love for them. — age 27 (may 2023) under the guidance of underboss fiorelli, the spectra: trinity trials commence. as admin and member of spectra, jayden is called forth to be one of the judges. [break]

— age 27 (late august 2023) team rocket's brass convene in the cave of origin for a meeting. chien pao breaks in, sinking it's fangs into jayden and claiming him as it's avatar. under it's ruinous influence, jayden flies into a blind rage. it takes everyone's efforts to subdue him and the beast, and he sent to the infirmary for recovery. he remains there for several weeks, with the exception of a few events that take place between september-october:

• resurfaced treasure — where he flies into a blind rage in an attempt to find and kill matias silph. his identity, in part, is revealed even though matias does not share it with the league.

[break][break] • caleb harcourt's prison break, aided by that of ex-rocket isaac merlo. once again, jayden breaks his constraints in order to prevent the escape, but fails when his rocket brother turns on him.

in the subsequent months, jayden struggles with returning to full function and regular duties, while also grappling with his newly-gained avatar powers. gossip spreads. no one is really sure exactly how 'stable' the admin is — or even if he was ever really stable to begin with.

[break] he begins training with theo beckett again, notorious for his extreme kantonian methods. despite knowing what to expect, it doesn't make being burned alive by one of theo's pokemon any more endurable. one particularly intense session leaves him in the medbay for weeks, much to elisabeth fiorelli's displeasure. it's only with the help of their resident healer and old friend of jayden's, bryan delarosa, that he is able to recover quickly. — age 27 (dec 2023) father winter 2 visits the home of many hoennians, including that of both jayden cross and fern delaney. in this alternate timeline, jayden discovers what would happen if he really did just listen to his father, as dmitri had always wanted.

[break] — age 28 (jan 2024) in to sow dragon's teeth, kyurem and hoopa rampage across the silent icelands. for the first time, jayden's hair turns white in public, overwhelmed by a rage-filled hatred upon encountering traitor remiel calcifet. later, in response to his recklessness and instability, theo punishes him again. however, the underboss is frustrated with the admin's lack of progress. when asked what he needs, jayden tells him. he needs an anchor, and theo say he'll provide one.

[break] — age 28 (mid-feb 2024) dynatrees suddenly appear in both sootopolis and evergrande city. aurelie receives a task from the rocket calyrex, advising her to make a saddle and shield for the upcoming war.

[break] — age 28 (march 2024) team rocket leads excursions into the silent icelands and the area zero. several report interactions with the drk triad, in addition to escalations with the league. as war continues to intensify, jayden has an immanent clash with penelope livy and gunner graves in area zero. his hair turns permanently white and he is finally revealed to the league as both jayden cross and chien pao's avatar. he is publicly dismissed from his role as ceo of wyndon pharmaceuticals. the admins of rocket hold their own meeting, dissadminate, to discuss war strategy. jayden recommends strengthening the city’s defenses, while admin fox debates the necessity of using dynamax in the upcoming battle. [break]
jayden continues to be overly affectionate to fern delaney, guilty of his other-self in the alternate timeline showed to him by dialga and father winter 2.

[break] — age 28 (april 2024) in late april, several trainers are suddenly kidnapped to prismatic penitentiary. jayden is among them, as is fern. he, jayden and admin bee share a cot together but more importantly is the absence of his ruinous patron. without such ruinous influence, jayden is more clear-headed than he has ever been — but when chien pao returns to him, so does return his thirst for power.
[break] when they return to hoenn, however, it seems not everyone shares his thoughts. not everything is perfect. filled with immense need to keep fern by his side, jayden asks for their hand in marriage. however, the proposal does not go as planned...

[break] — age 28 (may 2024) spectra holds an event called the gauntlet for rocket grunts. he and zev harcourt work on it together, which is excellent timing, because jayden needs a distraction more than ever. rocket grunts may notice that the admin is more agitated than he usually is, with or without chien pao at his side.

[break] — age 28 (july 2024) in june, jayden collaborates with admin bee on a new training initiative. project tower is established to train rocket grunts through real-time simulations, focusing on skills like hand-to-hand combat, security reinforcement within rocket's tera tunnel network, and covert operations in league cities for intelligence gathering.

[break] — age 28 (august 2024) fate shifts the leylines into the seas, resulting in a frenzied kyogre crashing into sootopolis bay. in the first wave, jayden must protect him home alongside his rocket family, lest it and the rest of the region be submerged by the untamed leviathan.
