EVERY NEW YEAR, Hoennian families deliver lucky letters filled with gifts and blessings to their loved ones. Whether they are sourced from shrines or family heads, the year-end tradition of bestowing these sealed letters is still met with reverence and consecrated gratitude. However, it is said that those who are impatient and open their letters too early will receive endless bad luck for the new year.

HOW TO GET

YOU CAN RECEIVE LUCKY LETTERS from a variety of sources. Once you receive a lucky letter, please keep track of it in your PC or in a post in this thread. At the end of the month, there will be a thread where you can post to open your lucky letters.[break][break]

Threads started before January can count as long as they are completed within January.[break][break]

Furthermore, you can only receive a maximum of 22 LUCKY LETTERS PER PLAYER. In the past, the amount of lucky letters you could collect was limitless. However, in order to prevent burnout and less stress, we've limited the amount you can receive.[break][break]

Below are the methods to receive lucky letters:

• safari thread completion - 1 lucky letter
• duo wild thread (2 pages min.) completion - 2 lucky letters
• social thread (2 pages min.) completion - 2 lucky letters
• gym thread completion - 3 lucky letters
• mission completion - 2 lucky letters
• exhibit post - 1 lucky letter (one time only)
• post in another character's plotter - 1 lucky letter (one time only)
• roll for evergrande fantasy - 1 lucky letter

AT THE END OF THE LUCKY LETTER RAFFLE PERIOD, you will roll all of your lucky letters. Each lucky letter will represent an opportunity to roll for one of the prizes below. ZERAORA

SHOULD YOU BE LUCKY ENOUGH to receive a Zeraora (our representative for the Year of the Tiger), heed the ic-explanation of its acquisition below.[break][break]

Some say lightning never strikes twice. Well, it hasn't.

However, the Rangers have recently acquired some of the Zeraora given out during the POKEATHALON. Their previous owners have returned them, unable to keep up with the demands that come with raising such a Pokemon.

Additionally, some of these Zeraora have had pups. While information about this new species of Pokemon largely remains undiscovered, researchers are hopeful that distributing them to capable trainers will uncover their secrets.
